Just been swimming…arthritis has ended my glorious football career…and was chatting to a couple of Cardiff fans in the pool. I said Cov fans are talking about signing Salech. One said he wasn’t all that, that he (Salech) “thinks he’s better than he is”.
The other fan, a season ticket holder, said she loves him and thinks he’s brilliant.
Thanks a lot useless cardiff scouts.

One thing they were entirely in agreement on was how much they hate Sheffield Utd….”their fans are fucking horrible”.

Need a bit of that arrogance though. Feel like Simms would apologise to the opposition keeper if he scored now.

Good. We can do with some continuity. Last thing we need is to bed in a load of new players and it fucking up the first half of the season
Only problem we’ll have is trying to get the players we want on the wages we want to pay, hopefully where Lampard makes the difference

We weren't relegated
I never said we were.
I quite clearly referenced Luton as the relegated team.

I was referring to our poor starts after a play off defeat and a cup semi final, again, as I quite clearly referenced.

Let me know if you struggle to understand any other posts and I'll do my best to explain the King's English to you.

Personally I’d see prioritising keeper, LB and midfielder, think that’s sheaf done, torp can fill in there when fit again, something def going on with wright, don’t think his hearts in it, can’t see Lampard Not using his connections next season, goes against Doug’s plan but a couple of loans will make the difference,

This talk of Stamenic and Panzo is making me nostalgic for Ostigard. What happened to him? Had a great leap on him and would score 10 a season in this team.

Some of the youngsters at Chelsea have done well in the Conference League, so will be interesting to see if we get any of those.

The Wright situation just needs sorting one way or other it’s been done to death on SBT.

I always look forward to recent Summer transfers as it’s not now selling our best players for freebies/loans to replace them.

We finished 5th with prob the worst season for injuries I can remember, we won’t be adding many
Injuries hurt us but even without selling, we’re losing a fair bit of depth (Allen,Paterson, Howley, Burroughs, Tavares) not saying they’d play but we would need to increase our depth in key positions like RB, CM, RW and then GK, LB. Then you add possible outgoings like MVE, Sheaf as you say and possibly Wright.

It’ll be a quiet summer, more about who we can keep over who we buy, I reckon sheaf goes, free up some wages with some of the fringe players Going and add the gykores money, and some good loan players and that’ll be it, top 5 squad already, don’t need to do too much more

Exactly, we were 3rd top scorers in the league and that was with wright missing most of the season, tighten up,at the back and that’ll be it,
We don't even really need to tighten up that much.

We conceded too many goals when we were playing Binks instead of Kitching and Collins or Wilson instead of Dovin, and Dasilva was struggling for form.
Picking our best 11 would be all we need to do to stop the goals going in.

Attacking wise, if we could add a couple of decent strikers in place of Simms and BTA then we could be in with a chance of challenging for the top 2.
