Biggest load of bullshit I’ve read in my life, ‘ I think he will go here’ ‘I think he’s got interest from both the championship and premier league’ bellends

If a Prem team did come in for him with an offer to good to refuse I really hope its early on in the window, I think he will still be here though

Not to us, have tried to find it but from what I can see Wrexham, Oxford and QPR linked (plus other sides not named).

Oh fair enough, would say £2.5 million falls into the 'might be worth a pop' category for him. Seems like the poster on here made it up though as i can't see links to us anywhere either.

Every player has their price and every player should have ambition, or they shouldn't be here.

All managers like to get their transfer business done early so the whole squad can get the preseason done together. However, the reality is agents and players often drag things out, so getting deals across the line isn't as easy as some fans think. But that is the reality. Also Rudoni is the type of player vulnerable to a last minute swoop, especially if a Premier teams recruitment hasn't quite gone to plan. I think we are just going to have to live with lots of speculation about Rudoni.

Was he injured last season ? He didn’t feature much after Xmas and they played a central midfielder at right back for the run in.

I honestly don’t know mate.
Would also take a keeper from Chelsea. They appear to be after another one!
Perhaps Mike Penders on loan? Young 19 year old keeper could do with a championship loan to get used to the speed of English football
Linked with PSV and Strasbourg with a loan

That Graeme Bailey is not a serious journalist, if he told me today was Thursday I’d go and check my calendar - an absolute chancer

It will come down to the player, but i doubt he will be tempted by any championship club. If prem comes knocking he will be advised to talk or listen. The club will have a price and if that is met a deal will be the likely outcome.

If this is the case i would try to get a deal that allows a year long loan back to us. The player is happy and improving while most importantly playing. That could be an outcome that keeps all happy. 15 to 20 mill with a loan back and a sell on clause would be nice. Again its all media talk as of now lets see what happens over the next few weeks.

I can’t see rudi going to another championship team to be honest. Think we’ve got as good a chance as any of being up there

Yes but Rudoni will want to keep working with Frank Lampard for the time being. The only thing that will take him away is the opportunity to play in the Premier League.
Yeah agreed. I’d like to think we’d refute any bid from a team in this division if it came in

Haji Wright has scored 12 goals in 29 matches so far in the Championship 2024/2025 season. 8 of the 12 goals were scored at home while he scored 4 goals at away games. Overall, Haji Wright's goals scored per 90 minutes is 0.51. Moreover, Haji Wright's total G/A (goals + assists) is 13 for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.55 per 90 minutes. His Non-Penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.46. This puts Haji Wright's npxG output at 11.00 which puts him in the top 98 percentile of Championship players.

You are explaining this to somebody from Beduff

Just back from 'tapas and tango' at Radford Social. He said the deal is sorted, just waiting on the announcement. Bit of a worry that he got a takeaway from Fortune House, especially after the dancing and nibbles.

Is it true that there was a bit of confusion over the Tango element and everybody was given a can of Fanta

Is it? Thomas and Kitching have had two seasons of playing as a pairing where our form for the entire time has been play off level. You can have Collins though.
Oh let’s be fair Kitching has so far under performed for the fee we paid. He certainly improved under Frank but over 2 seasons he’s been disappointing.

That said it should have no impact on our assessment of any future player from Barnsley.

When you compare him to Rudi/EMC/Grimes. who were a similar fee or Thomas/MvE who were cheaper he’s not been great. For the money we paid and his age you’d expect a leader on the pitch who makes a significant difference not someone who loses his place to Louis Binks.

EMC has had a purple patch and thats it so far?

Our win percentage with Kitching in the team is far better than without.

At least he’s had a purple patch! And he’s been available for less than half the time Kitching has. Win % isn’t a player stat, @Evo1883 put up a chart recently that I can’t find now that shows how stupid it is to rank players by it.

Kitching was CB when we won 9 out of 10 was he not. He can't be that shit.
He was a liability in his first season, didn’t really play until Xmas this season and had a solid second half to the season until his fatal error in the last minute of the semi. It’s hardly the stuff of dreams is it.

Fatal error?

and he had a very good run with Thomas in his first season.

The defence clearly needs an upgrade, and if I could only pick one player to replace it would be Kitching. That’s not to say that Jay Dasilva is a top 6 LB, but pairing Thomas with a genuine high-end CB would make us real contenders imo.

JDS is a much bigger problem than Kitching lets not be ridiculous
