I appreciate that but im more a round peg in a round hole thinking! BTA does a job but when he's out on the wing his natural instinct is to come inside and run into congested space and lose the ball! A lot! A winger no matter what skill level does hold the line and stretch the field

Yet we have two wingers who prefer to play on the opposite side to their strongest foot and cut inside.

I’m usually one of, if not the last person to clamour for us to sign free agents out of the window cause usually I think they are free for a reason

But Josh Dasilva was absolutely unplayable on his day when Brentford were a Championship side, unfortunately however I think his body has given up on him but if he could keep himself fit I’d have him through the door tomorrow

If it was possible I'd take Ziyech, Lampard managed him before and love to sign Brownhill, Eriksen would be class but wonder if he'd drop to our league and play under Lampard... Wish this was Fifa as I'd of signed them already

Dasilva was so good at Brentford. Shame his knee ligaments probably look like Frankenstein now.

If that happens all would be forgiven with King, I will even volunteer to perform a solo of his song on the pitch. Get it done!

I have a feeling you might be right unfortunately. Can't really remember the last Coventry player to go out on loan and turn it around here.

Really hoping he can though. Looked quite good in recent appearances and one of the main things he seemed to be lacking was experience

I wouldnt be surprised to see us sign Josh Dasilva if he can prove his fitness in training with us or something

Quite a few articles in the summer stated we were looking at him, still a free agent. A very very good player, its just how is he after missing a year through injury?

If he is able to prove his fitness he’d be a very good signing imo.

Saw an article on June but the source was shite so didn’t add much weight to it.

Think last I heard he was at Brentford doing his recovery similar to Lockyer at Luton. Depends where in his recovery he is tbh

All on that list are mostly 30+ and will want way more than our salary cap. Dasilva possibly excepted but a huge risk and not one I suspect Doug and Austin will fancy, especially as we have just offloaded Ben Crock

Was from Sportsbloom so take it with a huge pinch of salt.

I can genuinely see us going for a few.

I think Hagi would be a good pick up for example as Sparks suggested. Lawrence was someone we were linked with before and Dasilva has a very tenuous link.

Ianis Hagi as in ex Rangers? He seems to have been on loan a lot. Any idea why?

Nothing on Ox apart from he wants to play in England and Birmingham were interested (although I imagine less so now they signed Roberts).

EFL analysis mentioned we were one of several clubs keeping tabs on him in July

Think sadly he’s made of glass now, had some really bad injuries. Would be huge gamble, and again doesn’t really fit with our strategy.
