They urgently needed to get a Championship level squad and I’d say they’ve done that. The team that got them promoted would have been slaughtered at this level. Not super up to date on the financial rules at this level so don’t know how much they have to worry about resale value, but happy they’re overpaying from our perspective.Well, they've improved their team but it depends what you mean by decent business, they've overpaid for just about everyone. Most of the players they've signed aren't the sort that would increase in value either.

It does for now with Eccles unfit, but if nobody came in it would be manageable until January.Although it makes sense feels odd Sheaf has gone and does leave us light of quality in depth in the middle.

We can't really control what other clubs do, i'm not too bothered about anything our rivals have done today really, although i would like us to look after ourselves and do something soon. Anything really at this point.
