Well, they've improved their team but it depends what you mean by decent business, they've overpaid for just about everyone. Most of the players they've signed aren't the sort that would increase in value either.
They urgently needed to get a Championship level squad and I’d say they’ve done that. The team that got them promoted would have been slaughtered at this level. Not super up to date on the financial rules at this level so don’t know how much they have to worry about resale value, but happy they’re overpaying from our perspective.

Can't see us signing someone we haven't been linked with at all yet with this little time left. You'd have thought if the Rak-Sakyi deal was on then we'd have heard something concrete by now
Is the Rak Sakyi deal on loan? If so, you're right. It is not like we're waiting on sales to provide funds to make the signing. If its a loan, it can be made at anytime surely? Or were we waiting in Sheaf to go before replacing him. Needless bringing in a loan to cover a player that hasn't left. Squad places and all that.....

Was originally gonna post this as a wind up but Wrexhams starting XI is literally

Okonwko
Kabore Doyle Coady Hyam Cacace
Sheaf O'Brien
Broadhead Windass
Moore

Is it really that much worse than ours?
Yes, plus it’s much older and they’ve spent too much on assembling it. Try again.

That side could beat any side in the league, but it’s cost them a lot and Doyle aside doesn’t have much upside over the next 2-3 years.

I doubt they are concerned with the upside. Their focus is staying in the league, and if they do they'll spend a hell of a lot again

Pleased Sheaf has moved on.

Some great games blah blah but was one player I never really rated: not progressive enough, backward passes too often, scared to shoot, often had the ball nicked off his toes.

6.5m?

Crazy money.

At his best he was one of the more progressive passers from his position in the division. The role Torp now plays didn't suit him and Grimes is just better at deep lying - best for all parties.

Well they've spent a lot of money so its not going to be awful is it, but how many get into our best 11?
We can't really control what other clubs do, i'm not too bothered about anything our rivals have done today really, although i would like us to look after ourselves and do something soon. Anything really at this point.
3 I would think would have a chance. But the rest would not.
