This is what I'm saying. I never said it was an issue. I agree we need some experience and grit in defemce. My argument is, is at 26, say he has a 4 year deal, takes him to 30. We wont make much profit on that £4m investment.
Doug says the clubs model is to buy young/cheap, improve, sell at profit to reinvest. Which works so far.... you still need some experience platters amongst the young lads. Im saying that £4m for Wolf is better than £10m for Huges, just at his age, we wont make much profit on that £4m. Nothing wrong with that because, as i said in another post, what's better? £100m for winning play-offs with Woolf? Or £5m + add ons from a Huges sale?

Yes only scored 14 in 3 with him on the wing...That squad list just highlights the complete lack of depth on wings - an injury away from changing formation.
Lets be clear rapha is not quality back up and BTA does a "job".

We currently have 2. Bassette was an U21 so he doesn't affect the 25 man EFL limit.Who posts an updated squad list as incomings and outgoings happen? I reckon we now have 3 or 4 spare squad places right?
Serious questions need asking if we end up having to play that dreadful back 5 system again due to having horrible depth on the wings
To be fair can’t other players than the ones mentioned also play on the wings. Looking at KKH, MVE, Wright, BTA?How can a team that plays 433 have such little depth in wingers lol
