If he signs for us the fee is going to be 'undisclosed'.People on X going on about a £15 million bid. Cant see us spending that much personally

It feels too much but he is a young home grown player and they attract top dollar as they say. would be the same if we sold him in that we would be asking for a high priceSomeone said 12 plus 3 in add ons which I agree is nuts mate
Source ?Bid has been rejected already
Baz cooper from hull daily mailSource ?
no shitWe need a Centre back
Its difficult to say. If we had a young player considered one of the best young talents in the division then we'd want it. We're just not used to being the ones paying it.I personally just don’t think he is worth that kind of money.
We are at the stage now where we are bidding £12m for Hughes we might as well just go all in and pay the £15m or so they want. Its difficult to say. If we had a young player considered one of the best young talents in the division then we'd want it. We're just not used to being the ones paying it.
For me the only thing bothering me is Woolfenden is clearly option number 2 but we could go all in on Hughes and end up with neither.

He's clearly the ultimate target.
He's an exciting target because he's the sort you could take up to the Prem with you and potentially not have to immediately punt him out the team. Yeh maybe, I suppose that depends who else is in for him.Or Ipswich realise we are looking at other players and lower their demand to us as they want to cash in perhaps?

Really don't think doubling our transfer record on a CB is worth itWe are at the stage now where we are bidding £12m for Hughes we might as well just go all in and pay the £15m or so they want.

I wouldnt worry lads , its not our money and they clearly have it to spendSomeone said 12 plus 3 in add ons which I agree is nuts mate
Getting worried if this doesn’t pay off, we could end up with no CB in this windowBased on the Hull Forum our latest bid was £10M with the view that we will go back in with a £12M bid.
If its the difference between us shipping shit goals and not, it probably will result in promotion.Really don't think doubling our transfer record on a CB is worth it
We'd have to get promoted to justify it.
Doug's proved before that he's pretty relentless. I would be surprised if we ended up with no new CB.Getting worried if this doesn’t pay off, we could end up with no CB in this window
I'd still struggle to believe we can get autosIf its the difference between us shipping shit goals and not, it probably will result in promotion.
Lampard clearly disagrees with you. He seems to be the missing piece.I'd still struggle to believe we can get autos
For £15m I'd expect him to be the best CB in the league bar none

Chuck an extra quid in£10m I wonder what it would take for them to tip the scales in our favour.
Some sort of deadline I reckon...£10m I wonder what it would take for them to tip the scales in our favour.
We will add in Brad Collins.£10m I wonder what it would take for them to tip the scales in our favour.
Because it could be used on other players and ideally we'd probably get 2-3 more in?Why do supporters care about the fee ?
Its not our money to worry about and the club will stay within FFP
