Not sure how true the rumours are but apparently 50k a week.I can’t believe he’s actually signed for them- talk about a lack of ambition.
That and the Broadhead deal are just throwing money at it.Bad deal and you can see why nobody else got him in the end. Only Wrexham chucking silly money
That's the only reason to join Disney FC. Really starting to hate them. Something well fishy about the financing. Obviously their fans have been though it for years but they are never a Champ/Prem team sustainably. Hopefully it goes tits up and they find their natural level .Not sure how true the rumours are but apparently 50k a week.
looks like we’re planning for it already tried bidwell there and Lampard seemed to think he did ok,
The buy back being less than the total offer of the deal for is atrocious imo( £8 million compared to £7.5 million). What’s wrong with the deal
2 options … buy low with a high sell on %
or
Buy high with a lower sell on %
seems fair to me ….
All their revenue comes from ‘commercial’ deals. It’s shit as they’re a tiny club but when you have people like Reynolds and McElhenney they’re going to be attractive to US investors. That's the only reason to join Disney FC. I'm pretty sure that Lampard has mentioned that Bidwell can and has played there. So that sounds more like trying him at CB rather than just minutes.Did he try him there with a view to playing him there in the league, or did he play him there as part of a mish-mash lineup to get minutes into players that needed it?
I suspect it was the latter.
There's no way we (willingly!) go into the season with Lati and Bidwell as our backup CBs.
There was no point getting minutes into bidwell, when he’s 3rd choice LB, and he has played there before, lati can fill in when he‘s fit hopefully won’t see bidwell there again,Did he try him there with a view to playing him there in the league, or did he play him there as part of a mish-mash lineup to get minutes into players that needed it?

Seems you have finally been outed as part of the Wrexham recruitment team. That deal is right up your street. If I speak I am in big trouble
Speak or forever hold your peaceIf I speak I am in big trouble
They’re really pushing towards the deadline. I guess they’ll say they’re holding their nerve. I really hope they have it right.Fuck sake can we make a signing
Happy we didn’t do the Doyle deal with this bollocks in it.
A signing of quality for decent money it certainly is. Shame it’s not the sort of deal our owner likes.Seems you have finally been outed as part of the Wrexham recruitment team. That deal is right up your street.
Or it was to rest a CB as it wasn't a league game.We all know that, but Lampard tried him there for a reason, if it’s to fill in for the odd game then we’ll get by, just banking on kitching and Thomas not missing many
If you genuinely think thats a good deal then i fear for you.A signing of quality for decent money it certainly is. Shame it’s not the sort of deal our owner likes.
I don’t think it says the buy back fee is £7.5m … it’s poorly writtenThe buy back being less than the total offer of the deal for is atrocious imo( £8 million compared to £7.5 million).
Then the sell on fee meaning if I have it right, Man City could trigger it and then take 25% of the profit back with them.
He’s a quality player, for £5m. People moaning that it’s like a loan, he would have added to our squad even if it was a loan.If you genuinely think thats a good deal then i fear for you.
Shocking deal . Money just thrown at it . So very glad we walked away from this nonsense .The buy back being less than the total offer of the deal for is atrocious imo( £8 million compared to £7.5 million).
Then the sell on fee meaning if I have it right, Man City could trigger it and then take 25% of the profit back with them.
So you would approve of Terry Ramsden then. He’s a quality player, for £5m. People moaning that it’s like a loan, he would have added to our squad even if it was a loan.
People watch Douglas’ pockets like it’s their inheritance money he’s spending. It’s embarrassing
That makes no senseThe buy back being less than the total offer of the deal for is atrocious imo( £8 million compared to £7.5 million).
Then the sell on fee meaning if I have it right, Man City could trigger it and then take 25% of the profit back with them.
Looks to be £7.5 millionI don’t think it says the buy back fee is £7.5m … it’s poorly written
You are the first to moan we dont buy quality. Now you advocate deals where its the equivalant of throwing money down the bog. He’s a quality player, for £5m. People moaning that it’s like a loan, he would have added to our squad even if it was a loan.
People watch Douglas’ pockets like it’s their inheritance money he’s spending. It’s embarrassing
Tell me about it.That makes no sense
How is it throwing money down the toilet? You are the first to moan we dont buy quality. Now you advocate deals where its the equivalant of throwing money down the bog.
Worst case they lose money on him after he’s had a great season or two?How is it throwing money down the toilet?
Worst case scenario he costs them £5m-£8m and they sell him for £7.5m. If thats the case he's had a storming season for them and its just the equivalent of a loan.
If we had only got him on a loan you would still be holding up your hilarious 'Bling Out' bannersHow is it throwing money down the toilet?
Worst case scenario he costs them £5m-£8m and they sell him for £7.5m. If thats the case he's had a storming season for them and its just the equivalent of a loan.
Seems most sane people agree with you. That’s a shocking deal.
If it was called a season long loan everyone wouldn't be saying it. What is the real risk to Wrexham here?Worst case they lose money on him after he’s had a great season or two?
Mate that’s an awful deal imo. If you’re going to spend that much you deserve to demand however much you want.
