I think once he gets his chance ( can’t really count Luton ) he’ll be a regular, just Frustrating we’re still starting Da silva

So, just to clarify..

3 games in:

1 draw, with a clean sheet
1 changed side cup win, with a clean sheet
1 away win (first win at Derby in 22 ‘kin years)
Unbeaten at the start of a season, a first in quite a while..

..and, some SBT illuminati’s want to chatshit about our players.

Still got around 2 weeks until the window shuts now, plenty of time still to sign 1 or 2 players. There will be lot’s going on behind the scenes lets hope the recruitment team can get a CB over the line! Also I wonder who’s available on a free that we wouldnt mind taking?

Well maybe we could make an exception for him . Looks like he is probably waiting to decide near the last day on which is his best option

I don’t mind a squad filler on a free - Paterson as an example , if there is an experienced and not too expensive option that will happily come to help us then no issue with me

The squad doesn't need filling imo, it needs improving if we are going to make signings. Paterson wouldn't get on our bench this year.

I was to be fair only really speaking in terms of a freebie, you are correct in that we need more quality. But if we don’t flog anyone then maybe just a couple more would probably do

And then the other big question is what to do with the younger lads in terms of keeping or allowing them to go on loan

Im on about for like if we dont finish our business or miss out on a target right at the end, say like we miss out on a 10 we go out and sign Ianis Hagi or we miss out on a CB and are lacking cover so sign Daniel Amartey who can cover a few positions, squad players essentially to improve our depth

Why is that unrealistic. Clearly not got many premier league suitors and we are top end championship

Swansea City are on the verge of completing the permanent signing of New Zealand international Marko Stamenic from Nottingham Forest, in a move that adds yet more depth to Alan Sheehan’s increasingly competitive midfield unit. The 23-year-old was spotted in the stands during Saturday’s 1–0 win over Sheffield United and is expected to be unveiled within the next 48 hours.

Not that I believe we are in for him, or that he would consider Cov, but it's odd that he decided to not sign a new deal at Burnley and a month on still has no club. He was their captain and one of the stand out performers of last season.

Absolute nonsense argument.

If you lost your job, where you were earning 45k pw would you take any job, or bide your time trying to find a job with as close to that pay as possible.

I never understood this argument. It’s not like his career is on the decline and someone will sign him close to what he was on. He’s never coming here in a million years

On about yeah but he’s earning £0 now as if he wasn’t earning a shit load and will have a load in the bank.

he’s not going to be taking any wage if he was on £45k

Imagine it on here, if we'd lost the first game of the season 3-0 to a promoted team that most people expect to struggle.
