To be fair if Sheffield united Thomas and we can get Hughes you’d take it

Is anyone leaving?

In all seriousness, interest in MVE not there anymore, Rudoni doesn’t want to move and not sure where the Thomas one will go.

Will everyone be happy if we keep things as they are and we get a bit more CB cover and potentially Bassette goes and something different in attack?

Still need another right wing option, ideally someone that can cover both, oh and play a 10.

Do think we need cover at the 10 position more than any other attacking position. BTA & Raphael can play right. Wright can play left. Only really have Torp who can cover the 10 adequately, but like him more as an 8. If we could get someone who could cover the 10 plus either wing it would be ideal.

I would imagine Blades will be paying through the nose for anything now. Everyone can smell their desperation. Robinson and Bindon on loan are their only CB’s.

Propping up the table, possibility of loosing Gus, couldn’t happen to a nicer team and fan base.

Can play on the right wing but not the left. We need someone who can cover all three.

I dont like him but I am puzzled why they sacked the odious Wilder. There is a long way to go but after losing a playoff final stability is key and the board have gambled! Time will tell of that was a sensible calculation.

I just remember thinking it all sounded very odd and that whilst I heard his words I thought he had been naive in the extreme to sack a mgr and not have even thought about a replacement, I was obviously hopelessly naive

I think ideal is we sign a CB, and someone who can play in the 10 and on the wing, perhaps loan market for the 10/W?
- Tyriq George
- Lewis Koumas
- Andrew Moran
- Tom Watson
- Jeremy Sarmiento
- Matheus Franca
- Jesurun Rak-Sakyi
- Paris Maghoma
- Myles Peart-Harris
- Romain Faivre
- Sam Greenwood
- Largie Ramazani

He’d be perfect but you’d have thought would move somewhere else he was a big part of the league winning team last year? But then again he may be one thats too good for this league not good enough for the prem so there may be a chance

Think I was just reading the Leeds forum or whatever it is, trying to sign James Justin for £6M,so you never know, leaves them with 3 for the Spot.
Don't know how good or bad he is or if better or worse than MVE, but priced similarly.

Gnonto is a RW/ST not RB mate, so dont think them signing Justin impacts that deal!

He's also the keeper that won the golden gloves on the way to Wembley and almost the holy grail of the PL.
Not that I'm turning on Rushworth just yet, but Wilson isnt THAT bad a keeper. And given Rushworths pre-season howlers, his flapping with his eyes closed at any crosses yesterday and his kicking yesterday, both Collins and Wilson would be getting absolute pesters on here. Yet, because he's new, Rushworth gets a free pass. Hes made 1 decent save v Hull that was offside in any case.
Other than that, he let in that free kick and went down from a stuttered run up for the pen too quickly and easily. Yesterday certainly wasnt a good advert for "being better than Wilson".

His kicking has been woeful. Long enough but that's as much as you can say, direction is a bit random. Let's not forget the howlers preseason too. He got bullied at the end of the Hull game and ended up carded. If that's absolute shite then too bad!
