Rushworth is a good example of "be careful what you wish for" 50 Championship games to his name and it shows, to be frank! His season with Swansea two years ago gave only 10 clean sheets and he looks rusty having had little game time last year. He may well improve but he isn't what we need just now but no doubt he'll be picked ahead of Wilson (at least for a while) thanks to the terms of the loan agreement.

Two days you’ve been rambling on about Rushworth. You’re chatting absolute shite and he is absolutely miles ahead of Wilson or Collins.

His kicking has been woeful. Long enough but that's as much as you can say, direction is a bit random. Let's not forget the howlers preseason too. He got bullied at the end of the Hull game and ended up carded. If that's absolute shite then too bad!

If you are married send them my sympathies. Having to have a discussion with somebody so wrong yet so adamant must be draining

Ben Wilson is proof that all you need to do is pull a few funny faces in the social content and be a good laugh at the Warwick and Leamington Supporters Club and some fans will want you in the starting XI for life.

The preseason issues where also down to players not moving into the correct position to receive the ball. After the goal conceded against St. Pauli you could see him telling Sheaf where he should be. Also it was one game and it hasn't happened again.

2. He got away with the first one when the ball went over the bar. It was a warning and the he did it again! It was the foot on the ball thing.

I'm not doubting the source, but it was obvious it was Lampard from day 1 after Robins went

Once the club had doubts over Robins then I would expect them to have been sounding out target managers …. It’s called succession planning !

You don’t wait until the manager leaves to do that.

I can’t believe Doug will sell Thomas after yesterday and to a rival in the same league.
We are after a centre back not selling one.

Anyway, good news (assuming true, as seems likely) about Rudoni, for whom succession planning would be tough.

All this rivals In the league nonsense …. Clubs in the lower half of the championship are not going to spend £6-8m on a central defender …. When we sell often it will be to teams like ourselves who are investing to get out of this league ….

We should not be strengthening a promotion rival at any cost if we’re serious about wanting promotion ourselves.

That’s not the real world though is it ….

I don’t suppose Villa wanted to sell Ramsey to Newcastle or Palace Eze to Spurs but you have to sell where the market is not where you wish it were.
