I get what you are saying, but this hasn't really happened in this case. Largely, the only ones saying he was worth ridiculous sums were posters on here. It seems to me blaming injuries is an easy way to avoid admitting we went overboard.
It's been three seasons and he's still here. The demand was never really there.
Bad enough to sell him but to sell to a championship rival would kill our season
Did we sell him to a team in the same league?Did it kill our season when we sold Hamer?
Where were you that season?Did it kill our season when we sold Hamer?
Didnt really make much sense anywayNot us then
We are both in the championshipAny championship team is a selling club and although Southampton are a ‘promotion rival’. We aren’t remotely in the same league
We would have done if one would have met our asking price.Did we sell him to a team in the same league?
No it isn't the model to sell your best player at the end of the transfer window to a team in the same divisionH
How ? that’s the model ? We all know that.
But that’s the point bud, we are in the same leagueAny championship team is a selling club and although Southampton are a ‘promotion rival’. We aren’t remotely in the same league

The only way it works to our benifit is if we already have someone in house, wracking brains.I disagree. It’s detrimental
Vik?No, but if we sell Rudoni to someone in our league it will be more than Hamer went for.
Where were you that season?
Our midfield was absolutely wank. Had we had a decent CM, we probably make the playoffs.
Vik?
We were starting Liam Kelly. It was a disaster selling Hamer so late in the window and it had a negative effect on our season. We got to an FA Cup semi final. The first time since 1987.

They play in totally different positionsSouthampton are going to get a huge fee for Dibbling, Rudoni is the obvious replacement.
Will be gutted if we sell him but would want a huge fee and replacements lined up pronto
Which I get but so could any premiership club, just tell his agent to go looking thereI know what you are saying and I’d be disappointed in King for not holding firm.. but they can double or even triple his wages
Realistically he’s not going to a Prem team without at least another half season of elite performances here. If a Championship team wants to overpay for him then we should let them. The money we received for Gyokeres and Hamer completely changed the trajectory of the club and we’d need a very good reason not to do it again.Hopefully just paper talk. Losing Rudoni to a Prem team would be one thing, any player would want that move. Losing him to a promotion rival with years left on his contract late in the window is a whole other situation.
And never will be if that is the formula!Any championship team is a selling club and although Southampton are a ‘promotion rival’. We aren’t remotely in the same league
no, we wouldn'tWould he have brought Rudoni on if we were genuinely talking to Southampton?
It will be a massive fee, I’m sure about it. You wouldn’t take the chance.
