Yep. Vardy’s natural strength (even at 38) lies in space. We pack the box and cross for 90 minutes; especially now ~half the league will play a low(ish) block against us.

And that’s ignoring the wedge he was on at Leicester and the obvious affinity they have for him.

2bf if he did sign we’d get confirmation on whether Leicester “don’t really care” about us

So the nearest championship match (League One had closer games) would have been us or Blades. He's a Wednesday fan, I believe, so would probably want to avoid Bramall Lane.

So I'd say he was just taking in a game. Unless he's off to Hull and was checking them out. They do like a free agent.

Not entirely true. They cant sign anyone for a fee, permanent or loan.

They won’t be able to sign anyone until a takeover just due to a lack of funds.

If he just wanted to watch a game why wouldn’t he wait a day and go to watch Leicester vs Wednesday.

Anyway willing to bet there’s nothing in this

Surprised we haven’t had a bid for the amount requested. Could probably sign him and a decent Cb for less than the Hughes deal

Vardy is exactly the type of signing bling would go for tbh, gets himself in the limelight again

Should have just kept Batchman if we're looking at the likes of Vardy.

If we got Vardy it would be a bigger sign of the season to come then Saturday’s performance.

Oh, that old joke, wasn't funny the first 600 times it was recycled!
A football fan, having an opinion on a football fans forum...... he thinks he's on fifa, hardyhardyha! Bore off!

What I've stated there is a realistic transfer window for any new manager building a new squad. Ive also given realistic figures for a good, great and perfect window. What's Football Manager about that? Or did you read that joke somewhere once on another thread and found it amusing and have been waiting for an opportunity to recycle it?? Really funny.

In MR first summer window as Stoke manager he's seen 11 players leave and8 come in! Can't believe he thinks he can be a manager after playing FM2024! How cowboy of him!

Just can’t get my head around how we’re doing business, haven’t got rid of any of our strikers….signed a Rb for millions when it looks like we’re pricing teams out of buying Milan. Everyone around us seemingly making moves yet we’re sitting still. The hughes thing would be great but it appears to be a complete no goer now, can’t we spend the money elsewhere! We’re a ST/RW and CB away from giving it a good go

Not sure he'd be awful (wouldn't be an every week starter), but I highly doubt he'll be signing here.

Robins has signed 8 at Stoke. Such a keyboard manager he is, sat on FM2024! No clue at all that Robins bloke.

In what way was it realistic? More than happy to debate with you but clearly you are delusional so it could be a challenge
