Yeah couple of minutes ago...apparently at the cbs. I thought had already signed elsewhere lolAnybody heard this Vardy rumour
at this point...Anybody heard this Vardy rumour
No. I can’t see him joining a rival in the championship. Might as well have stayed at Leicester.Anybody heard this Vardy rumour
I think to be fair, I’d go with EMC and Wright out of the options we have.I see what you're saying but do we have a better option currently?
Stop telling porkiesAnybody heard this Vardy rumour
Well not even the richest club in the world would pay him 100k a week, so forget what he has been on.. at this point he has no club so even 15k is more than what he is getting! No. I can’t see him joining a rival in the championship. Might as well have stayed at Leicester.
He was on over £100j a week at leicester too.
what’s the rumour ?
Anybody heard this Vardy rumour
While I'm currently placing this in the 'totally made up' file if I humour the idea how on earth would he fit into Lampard's attacking system? He wouldn't suit the striker role, would probably cost loads in wages and is nowhere near the player he was a few years ago.Yeah couple of minutes ago...apparently at the cbs. Leicester wanted shot of him, staying wasn't an option.No. I can’t see him joining a rival in the championship. Might as well have stayed at Leicester.

He’s got good movement, maybe we could play more low crosses into the box? While I'm currently placing this in the 'totally made up' file if I humour the idea how on earth would he fit into Lampard's attacking system? He'll go to America, isn't he a part owner of an MLS side?Don’t think Vardy would ruin his legacy at the twats down the road by joining us
It’s bizzare mind as he’s seemingly been trying to sell himself and got no where. He'll go to America, isn't he a part owner of an MLS side?
Maybe we should let him go on loan for 6 months. As much as we moan about our players going to Scotland on loan, if Simms could join one of the better SPL sides and be the stand out striker in a poor division I think that would actually do him some good.I think to be fair, I’d go with EMC and Wright out of the options we have.
But that’s only as I don’t know where Simms is at. As you say he’s a massive confidence player, while it seems good to get on the pitch, it can also have the adverse effect.
Simms has all the tools to do well in this system but seems to be holding himself back.
Yeah I don’t disagree but again would worry what happens when he’d come back and have a shite game.Maybe we should let him go on loan for 6 months. As much as we moan about our players going to Scotland on loan, if Simms could join one of the better SPL sides and be the stand out striker in a poor division I think that would actually do him some good.
Fucking hell we’ve lost all our left backs. Sort it out DougGK: Dovin, Collins, Wilson, Bell, Varney
LB: JDS,, Toffolo
RB: MVE, KKH, Sandiford JR
CB: Doyle, Hughes, Kitching, Thomas, Lati, Perry, Bidwell
CM: Travis, Sheaf, Grimes, Allen, Andrews, Torp, Rudoni, Eccles
RW: Sakamoto, Raphael, Dolan
LW: EMC, Wright, Brau
ST: Simms, BTA, Vardy, Obikwu,
Tea boy: Bassete.
Absolute bollocksLeicester wanted shot of him, staying wasn't an option.
I think his options include Leeds, Sunderland, Wrexham and the MLS but his issue is that he wants to play not be on the bench and his family are settled and not sure about relocating …. He turned down a move to Italy because of the family’s reaction to it.He'll go to America, isn't he a part owner of an MLS side?
Would he be our first choice at 38 years old?I think his options include Leeds, Sunderland, Wrexham and the MLS but his issue is that he wants to play not be on the bench and his family are settled and not sure about relocating …. He turned down a move to Italy because of the family’s reaction to it.
So in summary we’re just short:
a backup GK
RB, LB
A CB or two
DM
CM
AM
RW/LW
And probably a ST
Is that it?
I think it’s nonsense tbh but where ever he goes he will expect to play ….Would he be our first choice at 38 years old?
I'd have him over Simms and BTA.I think it’s nonsense tbh but where ever he goes he will expect to play ….
Just to witness the Leicester meltdown its worth itAnybody heard this Vardy rumour
Said exactly this. Same with people no longer banging in a 30 yard thunderc*nt. Possession is nine tenths of the gameModern football no one takes a man on anymore for fear of losing the ball. If you watched the Brum game one of their lads took someone on, got out muscled and lost is and the crowd were fuming.
I'm afraid the days of swash buckling wingers are long gone. Watch Grealish at City now, terrified to take anyone on. Martinelli at Arsenal the same
Partially true … his movement to get on the end of crosses is also a key strength ….A 38 year old striker whose entire game was based on runs in behind signing for a team who never create chances for their strikers to run in behind. Sounds like a perfect match.
Vardy presumably lives fairly locally, probably within an hours drive, and we were likely to be the nearest live game to go to. Shock scenes as football man goes to watch a footbal match.
