Hopefully as you say see if the RW comes in, sounds all positive tbhNothing really, other than what i've posted previously. He's been pretty spot on so far with what he's told me. LB in, told me early on there was talks with 2 right sided players and a keeper, since then we've had KKH and now Rushworth. Waiting to see if anything materialises with the RW.
He'd told me they were concentrating on building on what they had, rather than a massive overhaul, seems to be that way at the moment. Last we spoke, he said they'd been trying to organise some outward loans, maybe we are waiting for things to fall into place there.
I'll see him next week but we may have done some more business by then.
Seems he was right when told there is money there and Lampard would be backed, we tried to sign the keeper on a permanent. Interested to see where that money may be repurposed.
Hopefully we see a couple more decent additions.
Yeah, whoever their targets were, seems as though contact was made pretty early on in the window with them all. So i'm sure there will be lots happening behind the scenes. Can only help matters that Gyokeres deal is over the line now too.Hopefully as you say see if the RW comes in, sounds all positive tbh

Oh if your mate is a Leeds fan that makes it all sound far more credibleGenuinely for once Im not taking the piss my mate is a Leeds fan and he said if we were to be moving in for him it wouldnt be too expensive maybe only a couple million and that he’d (Bamford) be keen on a move to us
No, I think you'll find we are going to sign at least six or seven players as stated by many on hereNothing really, other than what i've posted previously. He’s a Leeds fan who KNOWS someone who knows Bamford.Oh if your mate is a Leeds fan that makes it all sound far more credible
Other than saying we were trying to sort some outward loans, nothing really about any bids coming in. There's these murmurings of interest in Eccles and MVE, possibly Binks too. I don't think anyone has put in any offers yet.Cheers for the update
any news on outgoings?
Personally i'd hope we would see a couple more quality signings over quantity. If it's true the money is there, and with Gyokeres on the move, we could be in a great position to do some good business. Hopefully before the season starts. No, I think you'll find we are going to sign at least six or seven players as stated by many on here
I give every single player a clean slate when they sign for us as how they perform for us is the only thing that matters to me. Can't say I'd be enthusiastic about Bamford though, not sure he'd even be much better than what we have there already and everyone knows what I think of our current strikers.
Tbf, you make 6 sound like a lot, I think its a pretty generic transfer window amount. You think it's out of the question we sign 3 more players? No, I think you'll find we are going to sign at least six or seven players as stated by many on here
His whole career is defined by 2 or 3 good seasons, a regular season for Bamford outside of that is pretty poor. Simms will end up the same, but without that purple patch of a prem season that Bamford had of course.Bamford would be such a dull signing
Do you remember the game against Sunderland? Only a natural, clinical striker would put a performance in like that.
It's a silly argument that's been banging on too long tbh. He's a better central striker than our others but most on here accept he's been better for us on the left. He’s very good as a striker at times, and I’m not one wishing him to leave the club at all, I just think he’s a more natural left winger than a sole striker. Maybe as two up top alongside another striker (instead of a LW, ST, RW front 3) he might be better?

Fact is if we were to get a competent striker in, Wright would have a fight on his hands to get in the team in either position. I'd love him to be around to fight for that but the rumour he wants out doesn't entirely surprise me.
100 appearances is not experienced in the grand scheme of things.I think we have a weird obsession with experience.
KKH close to 100 appearances at this level. 22. Experienced.
Callum Doyle, over 100, 21. Experienced.
You don’t have to be 30 to be experienced

Would be another waghorn complete waste of a wageBamford would be a decent signing, him simms and wright as depth for the ST is decent
Chelsea, have some very talented players, the Lampard connection could help us get one or two more in on loan.Still think we'll loan a player for either right wing or striker
Derby enquiring about Bidwell ?
Theyll look at the second goal we conceded today and take that enquiry backDerby enquiring about Bidwell ?
That bad?Theyll look at the second goal we conceded today and take that enquiry back
It was like watching Collins play outfield. I mean Collins does that anyway but you know what I mean. That bad?
Tbf if that performance at Pride Park didn't put them off nothing will. That was an all time stinker.
In his best days he was far superior to Waghorn. I've no idea what physical shape he is in now though.Would be another waghorn complete waste of a wage
Yeah he was good but been injured a lot and hasn't exactly been prolific on the last 5 seasons when fit.In his best days he was far superior to Waghorn. I've no idea what physical shape he is in now though.
Callum DoyleNot long till the first game of the season. 2 weeks today in fact.
What I would like to see as a minimum is one more classy CB, RW to compete with Tatsu and a dynamic striker.
Also there will have to be some outgoings but we’re 3 decent players from having a great squad.
Mate we get them 3 in I'm getting a stiffyCallum Doyle
Tyrique George
Marc Guiu
It was genuinely as if he was playing drunk. That bad?
