I often think of that absolutely dominant header by Wright against Oxford and wonder why we don't see it more often.I agree to a certain degree but the issue is that Wright just doesn’t seem like a natural striker, the way he plays suits cutting in from the left. We need a proper quality striker who’s clinical, makes darting runs through defences and someone that can score with their head, as a lot of chances we create under Lampard comes through crossing the ball in. Wright is better with the ball at his feet and for some reason isn’t that great with his head considering his height. A proper clinical striker with good vision and pace is what we need, they’ll unfortunately be that issue with Wright not tracking back properly but that’s just how it is, if his game was absolutely perfect he wouldn’t be playing for us tbh.
