Watford just signed Nestory Irankunda from Bayern and are close to signing another winger from Metz and already have Baah who plays right wing. He does look like he had bags of potential though.
They also have too many foreign players on work permits so having to be creative with moving some on or using loans from Udinese, who they own.They seem quite active this window

If we sign young players who make a contribution similar to Doyle or even Norton-Cuffy, then great. If they turn out not to be ready like Ayari or that lad from Palace that got sent back after one game, then we've wasted transfer money and wages.

Bloom was something nearing £400m in at Brighton last time I looked!It still annoys me when people babble on about this.
Tony Bloom and Matthew Benham were boyhood fans of the respective clubs they now own.
The dynamic couldn't be more different and both have injected a massive amount of capital into their clubs without any real intention of a return, well certainly in the early days.
Benham was paying off club debt before he was even in an official capacity at the club. Brighton wouldn't have their stadium without Bloom.
