I’ve had to watch Wilson and Collins fuck up costing us goals left, right and centre. There are 20 premier league clubs who will be looking to loan out younger goalkeepers. Bring one in on loan until January snd reassess then

Okay, so let’s see we go with the young keeper route and persuaded Beadle from Brighton, now at Brum, would he have been an upgrade?

Makes just as many mistakes as any other keeper.

A lot of the reasons defences work well is that they trust the goalkeeper.

The problem is they don't trust Wilson either.

The problem we have is we must have our biggest wage bill for our GK's in our history. Can we afford to add another to it?

It shouldn't. I don't understand your point, why should people give you names to make the point neither of the keepers are good enough? I can't imagine it's too difficult to find a few names of realistic keepers better than Clown A and Clown B to be honest.

I don’t think we are going to be able to persuade a goalkeeper, one that’s better than Wilson and Collins, to come in and cover until Dovin is back. Stuck with them - no way would be spending any sort of money on it and there’s no way we will manage to shift Collins.
There's a lot of GK's in the Prem that need game time. Loan one of them and Dovin would have competition when he starts to get fit. We can't expect Dovin to carry on from where he left.

The bonus is Collins and Wilson would certainly know where they stand with us and might be tempted to look for another club. Because if we keep playing them they would have no reason to leave.

The one big advantage we would have with loans would be playing for Lampard. Clubs send their players out on loan to get experience and to learn. Who is there better to learn from other than one of the best players ever to play for England.

It has been well noticed how much Rudoni has come on under 6 months of playing under Lampard. We're now one of the best sides in the Championship. In the last 3 seasons we have been in the playoffs twice and got as close as possible to getting to the FA cup final. If I had a player i wanted to loan out Coventry City would be at the top of my list.

I don't think so, it's the kind of loan Lampard was attracting when at Derby.

I think it’s best to stop while you’re behind then otherwise we are going to go round in circles all night.

Interesting to read the comments regarding our goalkeepers, didn’t we go down the same route with Simon Moore, he moved to Sunderland, played 4 games for them last season and is now a premier league player. Was claimed during his time with us he suffered personal problems, maybe we need to see if the current goalkeepers have progressed before we write them off.

KKH played 16 games on the left for Preston last season. If MVE hasn’t been sold yet, do we really think we’re going to leave him on the bench so we can play Bidwell, Dasilva, or the guy from the Spanish second division there instead?

Yeah but pretty much every club in the championship would want him, and I'm sure some would be prepared to offer large loan fees that we wouldn't match.

Also think he'd go somewhere in the prem anyway.

If Moore was still here then I have no doubt he’d be our starting keeper next season. And I’d probably be ok with that too.

I mean I think it's pointless discussing him - his most recent performances for us were on par with calamity Collins. I've no idea what the off field stuff was about, so can't comment, but on a performance basis he certainly wouldn't have been starting over Wilson.

What's the most important? An extra bit of money for the loan or playing for one of the best players ever to play for England who has helped Rudoni become at least one of the best players in the Championship?

The Prem sides buy up most of the promising youngsters but rarely play them. Most of them get loaned out. They go to the clubs that offer them the better chance of improving them. We have become one of them sides. Let's put half a million loan fee against the value of a player doing well in the Championship and going for promotion. A young player doing well could put millions on their value.

This isn’t news guys is it.

We have always known that we needed to sell one of our better players to fund significant incoming transfer targets. It’s how the model works.

We still have 7 weeks to go in the transfer window. A lot will happen …
