That may be true but also its an easy assumption based on Eustace being there

if KKH and Dolan come off and MVE is sold that's good business. Does KKH have decent pace?

I said weeks ago to a friend - MVE goes, KKH comes in and the rest of the dosh is spent getting Doyle in ! Fantasy island stuff with Doyle I know though

Although it's very boring with no rumours I do appreciate that nothing is coming out until the deals are more less done

Replacement sorted before we sell is always a positive sign. Assume KKH is coming in a a starter so maybe one of the Chelsea kids as backup ?

Hope Dolan is true, smart deal for a free/nominal fee and adds good depth on either flank.

Would absolutely love it if we have Kesler at right back and push Milan to RM/RW

I'm not referring to loans. The 2 Chelsea lads we have been linked to were both permanent deals

It would be a very good day if Dolan and KHH got done, be a massive statement. I can also see Toffolo turning up which really solves depth on either side with Brau getting time to settle in.

In my opinion KHH in doesn't automatically mean Milan is packing his bags, if the right money comes in it will be discussed if not we are building a very strong squad.

We are going to see exits no doubt but may not be the ones we automatically think.

I'd be amazed if KKH came in not being instant first choice. To me it really reads like MVE is gone.

Honestly, Sakamoto has all the hallmarks to be a top role player. He isn’t a player who gives enough offensively imo.

Dolan gives you more direct dribbling, chance creation, goalscoring, tackling, interceptions and recoveries.

Sakamoto is generally a better crosser of the ball and had a better xA in less minutes. Is significantly better in aerial duels.

Overall, FotMob has Dolan’s average match rating at 7.02 versus Sakamoto’s 6.80.

The thing that surprised me in the data was that Dolan was a lot better defensively than I expected and even having outperforming Sakamoto in the areas he’s above average in.

If we signed Dolan, he’s becoming a starter.

You could be right, the club wpuld be in a fantastic position to dictate the outcome. Which is very unlike what old farts like me are used to following the club.

There is absolutely no way we have signed a backup right back for 3.5 million. He’s first choice. Milan is gone

I'd be amazed if they don't share the starting role.

I just cannot see Sakamoto being relegated to immediate backup.

He’s a yesterday man imo. For the wages he’d want, it’d be an expensive signing for us and he’s been plagued by injuries. Hard pass.

Could be a good signing for a parachute payment team though.

Time will tell on KHH, Milan, Dolan and Tatsu, but if we get Dolan and KHH what a great problem to have as well as holding all the cards as all will be tied up in decent contracts.

Top start and gives FL lots of options for sure.

You don’t share starting positions. The season is 50+ games and players get injured so Sakamoto is never going to exiled.

Besides, he’s too good to be sidelined completely. If we intend to play 1 striker, we need both wingers to get close to 7-13 goals at least. Sakamoto’s xG has been consistent over both his seasons and hasn’t come close to that on xG. In his first season he scored several low xG chances.

To be fair we signed BTA and Bassatte for similar fees and they were back up and youth/project players.

Just had confirmation from my mate who works for Villa that KKH is done for £4 mill.

Great signing and good that it's done early on so he gets a full Lampard pre season under the belt.

Given what was spent on Grimes in January as well I’d be stunned and actually a bit concerned if nobody was sold to fund that kind of expenditure.

KHH plays RB, RWB, RM, CB and LWB to assume he and Milan cant play in the same 11 is not a position id jump too automatically. Keeping both is an option but we will soon find out.
