I would say a striker is of paramount importance now. Apparently Wright will be out for some months with an achilleas injury.

Christ, I remember Cresswell scoring for Ipswich against us in a televised game when he was probably a teenager!

Edit - looks like I misremembered, didn't score and wasn't a teenager by then but was the best player on the pitch, it'll have been this game:

I mean that could just be a couple of weeks as silly as it sounds considering that means he’s out for the USA games with a manager under pressure.

Was also walking around apparently unaided

We really don't need Bannan. And if we need someone in that area, I wouldn't want him either.

I don't see the need for Bannan with all our current CM options. Seems like it would be a pointless move.

Where are Thomas, Kitching, Binks and Lati off to? Has Frank decided we dont need CBs because Collins is good enough to be a keeper and CB at the same time

Months or not, its not looking good for the immediate and achilleas injuries are usually quite lengthy. The rest of our strikers barely scored double figures between them last season, so are you saying we don't need a striker if Wrights out for any lengthy time?

So to confirm you reported he apparently was out for months when that wasnt mentioned anywhere. You have no idea exactly what the injury is or how severe. You are wetting the bed for absolutely no reason.

It's tendinitis not a rupture isn't it? It'll be about treating symptoms and not the cause at this stage.

Doug has cut ties with his brother after he suggested trying Simms in goal because of his frame and knack for stopping attacks

I will see you all of those midfielders and raise you Kevin McDonald. Not his fault but he had one leg shorter than the other after breaking it at Liverpool.

Grimes being slow isn’t the wildest thing that’s ever been said on here, let’s be honest.

he's not slow though is he. Grimes isn’t sprinting past players, we know he's not going to do that and he wasn't brought into the team to do that. He has excellent positioning, anticipation, and ball distribution. He has enough in his legs to get into the right positions. He’s got enough legs, intelligence, stamina, and passing ability to dominate the midfield.

Yes. He takes it off their central defenders unless they are chasing the game then they push him forward in the hole, which is not ideal as he can barely see out if it.
