I mean you made an article saying how Collins is better than WilsonThe majority of our fan base wanted Jake Bidwell as player of the season and we’re desperate for us to sign Matty James.
If he goes it’s a short term business decision because we haven’t moved Simms on.
You can’t have Simms as 3rd choice striker, it’s collapsing the value of an acquisition. So it forces you to move the Belgian who’ll need minutes, even though Lampard would probably have him ahead of Simms.
But to call a Belgian international, way off, is simply wrong

Yes your point that nobody seems to agree with
So tongue in cheek basically meaning just made up bollocksIt was tongue in cheek but you get my point

So you don’t rate kitching then? Very odd thing to sayThat’s the point.
I’m not particularly interested in a majority view.
Robins would still be in charge. Haji Wright would be hung, drawn and quartered, and Liam Kitching would be captain of England because he likes a bit of boxing and flies into a reckless challenge once a fortnight

Go on the Mr Analysis give us the stats for when kitching started to when he didn’t last seasonNot particularly no. Low end champ centre back, whose lack of pace and mentality will mean he’s unlikely to improve.
Better on the ball than we give him credit for though.

Evidently not yours going by the last few pages.Your specialty subject?

he is expecting to start as apparently hes been moaning about his lack of game timeBassette is perfect for us next season. A good striker but not one who is expecting to start every week. For me we need to move Simms on. Retain BTA and Bassette and sign a good footballing CF. Bassette is a huge talent. But he’s still a rough diamond. But in 1-2 years he’ll be top notch.

That’s excellent and what you’d expect from every player. But he can expect whatever he likes, it’s not his choice.he is expecting to start as apparently hes been moaning about his lack of game time
Way off what we need but good enough for Standard Leige and Anderlecht?

Agree, he’s someone who needs to be carefully managed. He needs to go somewhere and play, I'd much rather he stays in England personally. Maybe top end League 1. I think it's time we try and pull the trick of demanding game time as part of any loan deal

He goes to Standard Leige and scores 15 goals, he’s worth 10million.
He goes to Leyton Orient and scores 15 goals, his value barely changes

The truth is we’ve stayed at he’s not good enough yet but should be in timeI see we've gone from Bassette is shit to Bassette is world class potential territory.
The comparisons to Tavares by some has always been ridiculous to me, as shown by the clubs that would be interested were he to become available. A decent loan would do him and us good i think but we need to get ourselves sorted up front first of course and not leave ourselves short. The truth is we’ve stayed at he’s not good enough yet but should be in time
Kitching was quality against Luton away and both Sunderland legs (apart from very last split-second when Ballard fluked that one in off his backside)Not particularly no. Low end champ centre back, whose lack of pace and mentality will mean he’s unlikely to improve.

kitch is limited and we can also see it.Go on the Mr Analysis give us the stats for when kitching started to when he didn’t last season
He's been quality since he got back into the team. No coincidence that our run saw Thomas & Kitching as the CBs. He's no slower than Harry McGuire, and he's got that nastiness we don't possess anywhere else in the team.Kitching was quality against Luton away and both Sunderland legs (apart from very last split-second when Ballard fluked that one in off his backside)
At the moment he’s mostly bark but no bite. The comparisons to Tavares by some has always been ridiculous to me, as shown by the clubs that would be interested were he to become available. OK. In the interests of being clear to the point of needless precision. I imagine Bassette’s mindset as a young, unproven striker is that he believes in his own, self confident way, that he should be starting every week and is bullish enough to shout the odds about it. However, in a realistic corner of his mind he also realises that he’s not quite there yet and so, whilst not being ecstatic about it, acknowledges that’s where he is.So he is expecting to start then? You said in your post he isn't expecting to start
He's 20 tbf, i feel like a small handful of players that show ridiculous levels from a very young age have completely ruined peoples expectations of where young players should be. Personally i am still hopeful Obikwu might have a bit of something and he's 21! I think more is expected of Bassette because we paid a fee for him, which i get, but we still have to be realistic. At the moment he’s mostly bark but no bite.
To be clear, I agree with you. Though I do think he’s the type to make a lot of noise to make up for the awareness he’s not there yet. He's 20 tbf, i feel like a small handful of players that show ridiculous levels from a very young age have completely ruined peoples expectations of where young players should be.
