I was more thinking of the experience it seems we need in that back line. A Fadz type player if you like. Not someone for the long run, but someone who could dig in, command and get us over the line.
100% this. Too much of a soft underbelly and arrogance at the moment back there. Experience is what we need and premier league experience which is what Frank thought he’d have with bamford albeit in the forward line.

I know, but that’s not quite the same as what I’m asking.
Well in reality we needed a lot, despite your disagreement.

We needed wingers, a CM and then I always said doing surgery to get rid of a LB or 2 and getting a new one in.

CB would follow that, but I never saw it likely so didn't cmoment as much on it.

Yes the signing of Worrall would fit this.

While I would defo want to sign a CB. I do wonder how a pairing of Thomas and Woolf would do.

Have they played in a back pairing this season?
The thing that makes me laugh is that Bobby and Kitching have been partners for a very long time even at Barnsley but neither of them seem to be aware of what the other one is doing. They are both weak as piss water, yesterday Kone ragged them all over the shop.

Yeah, someone at fairly low cost, with that level of experience. The cost would be a mere drop in the ocean if it leads us to getting the job done.

A battering ram, they're not exactly built for it are they.

At this point I suppose it’s a case of only time will tell. I think your insistence that we can only get promoted if certain players are signed would have more credibility if your suggestions for what we need didn’t change every week.

Ive always said Wingers, then a CM, then LB and then CB. Go back and check my posts.

What I am suggesting is much more realistic to get us promoted than yours of not signing anyone.

I did, and there are plenty of posts where you laid out our needs without mentioning CBs at all. I don’t mind if you’ve changed your mind, I’m just saying.

I said all along we would need extra bodies (ideally on the right terms) and we’ve got them. As bad as yesterday was I still believe this squad can get promoted, even more so if we add Onyeka on loan - you don’t, so I guess we’ll see.

You never said we needed signings. You said to let the lads do it themselves. Thats OK to admit.

Nothing new on incomings from me.
I see we look to have finally reached an agreement with Brentford though, so that's good news.

Not a rumour, just an opinion and may get laughed at, but i'd be looking at Jamaal Lascelles. He may not be what we are after in the long run but he's experienced and could come in and make a big difference to our run in. If we are not going to use Lati, let him go and get the minutes he craves, he is a good Championship defender for the right club.
I was thinking Lascelles then looked and saw he’s injured until April I think
