I think our early results flattered us a bit. We were always giving teams too many chances and we had a freaky spell where everything just seemed to go in for us. It was never going to continue like that. I got laughed at for mentioning it at the time.

But we are still in a good position and if we can maintain our home form we won’t be far off. But we need a win and a few draws away from home, by being a bit tighter and more savvy.

I don’t think we necessarily need a change of formation. Just a few tweaks, like not throwing both fullbacks forward at the same time, plus a midfielder. Too many times we are being overloaded on the counter. An example Brau made a mistake in one game which led to a goal, but for me the real question was why was he back defending on his own. Certain players have got to track back better and help out more.

We don’t need to panic, but the manager, coaches and players need to address one or two issues and sort it out. It’s a bit disappointing it hasn’t been done already. It is noticeable that even with squad rotation the same frailties exist. Which to me suggests the system isn’t quite working at times, rather than the players aren’t good enough.

4 of those are loan players returning to be loaned back out.
In terms of additions to the squad, we are lowest in the league with 7 (3 loans, 1 free, 1 promotion from u21, 2 paid fees)

Probably no for me.

I still think Rudoni is a class player and as much as I like Hamer, I would want better to replace him.

Onyeka should be funded via sheaf’s fees mostly with some additional like Obikwu put in.

I hate to join in with the negativity but considering where we are, this window has been disappointing . While I like the two loans especially Esse, seems the club are chasing shadows far too often in these windows

We haven’t kept up with our rivals, they’ve all strengthened and we need help in midfield. Esse is good Yang looks lightweight we need a fighter in the middle to ease pressure on Grimes. It’s so obvious where the problem is, but Frank and Doug are trolling us aren’t they?

I would love a battler in there.

However that won't change if the system doesn't change and stops leaving Grimes so exposed. We could have Pirlo playing instead of Grimes sometimes but when we are getting hit on the counter attack with most of our players way up front then we are fucked and he will struggle.

Do you have this transfer window specifically? I has a look on there but couldn't see a way to filter it.

There seems to be a lot of rumours with other teams around us, and to be honest I cannot keep up with who they have or haven't signed.

I know we effectively haven't spent a penny (yet), which is a concern to me given what is at stake here. It feels like others are arming up.

Had this chat last night, we played the same against milwall at home, more or less same same formation,milwall over ran us but we managed to win, only difference we didn’t make stupid mistakes they had to create their goal, it’s fine margins, bar the ipswich away game we’ve only lost by 1 goal, they could quite easily of been draws but in all of those games it’s been basic mistakes that have led to most of the goals, and it’s mostly, da silva, kitching and Thomas making them,
