We’re not making the decisions though the club are. They will be very clear on who they are after and the attributes they need to have.

I agree. All we can do is speculate, and I think that those who think someone like Eccles isn’t “proper cover” in our midfield is talking rubbish.

Have you got an egg I can suck. "Best"and "attract" are also very subjective. Fans often have opinions which are influenced by bullshit, speculation and very little factual information when it comes to transfers.

I sometimes wonder whether the club are failing or are the club just failing on some fans fantasy wishlist?

It doesn't change the real reality of the situation...
We are in a good place, the current squad got us here, it needs minor tweaks and support, not a major rebuild.

The summer will be our important market. I expect they are already working on it.

I don't even believe Blues are in for him but even if they are I'd be very surprised if he would choose them right now. If the Valencia or Fiorentina interest is real then yes theres a bit more of an issue.
