I can’t believe the silence in the January transfer window so far. All Doug has done so far is buy the stadium and secure our future.. it’s simply not good enough.

Whilst I agree, it has only been 3 days, I think a lot are nervous. Nobody is saying nothing is happening, Nobody disagrees the ground news is epic. But I think a lot, myself definitely included, have seen us "Cov Things Up" too many times to be content.

I also think the issue is, if we do cov this up, it'll be a very long time until we're in such a good position as we currently are now. It almost has a now or never feel about it. And thats not even bed wetting, I genuinely think thats the reality. We fail this, we lose Wright, Rudi, MVE, and Rushworth as minimum. With them going, the likes of Thomas, JDS etc may be tempted to parachute teams for next season maybe? We're right back to stage 1 of the rebuild.

And i think those nerves are playing out in the extremes on here. People band around the word bed wetter, call people dramatic etc, its just nerves. And every one of us has our own relationship with the club and follows the club their own, different way.

I think we should crack on with business as usual as long as its not eating into the business we really need to do too much. You'd assume that's been factored in.

But that doesn't mean to say we cant get a couple of low risk high reward young players. You only can really evaluate them once they are around the group, then the pathway is set for them.
