Well thats just not realistic at all is itDon't know if hes been mentioned before, but Liverpool's Harvey Elliott is on loan at Villa and appears to of been frozen out there. (There's an article about him on BBC sport)
If he goes back to Liverpool in Jan it might be worth trying to bring him here until the end of the season.
His loan move to Villa included a £35m option to buy, which sounds expensive, but that price may have dropped now.

Where has that come from? Think the Cov Telegraph article is just a rehash of the original article. Has it been confirmed somewhere else?I see we have now made an offer for Keyan Varela.
Could be a good one for the future but surely he is too young and inexperienced to help with our promotion push.
Possibly but these things are often very exaggerated. If it is true it's quite likely the Manneh trail isn't going anywhereI see we have now made an offer for Keyan Varela.

There’s no way he’d be coming into impact the first team straight awayPossibly but these things are often very exaggerated. If it is true it's quite likely the Manneh trail isn't going anywhere
You wouldn't think so. They do seem to be after cover though out wide but King won't drop much in January, he just told talk sport that they'll start in April discussing next year seriously. There’s no way he’d be coming into impact the first team straight away

Both said we had submit an offer. It was on the Telegraph website this morning, quoting Swiss sources.
I may be wrong but I think the previous report just said we are interested. This one (below) says we have submitted an official offer and we are in talks.

Coventry City 'submit official offer' for Portuguese winger Keyan Varela
Coventry City transfer news from CoventryLive, as the Sky Blues have been linked with a 19-year-old wide man from the Swiss top flightwww.coventrytelegraph.net
Both said we had submit an offer.
Swiss one mentions how we are pursing a deal so he can join in January
Whos saying it will just be that?If its just Varela and Manneh in January, it will be a bit disappointing will it not?
he's not going to go on talksport and say "yeah we've going to drop loads tis Jan" is he.You wouldn't think so. They do seem to be after cover though out wide but King won't drop much in January, he just told talk sport that they'll start in April discussing next year seriously.
Nobody. But those are the only two tenable links and I was asking a question. Would you think it a statement of intent ifW

Manneh would be a rotation option and valuable support off the bench. I think we will sign a midfielder too.Nobody. But those are the only two tenable links and I was asking a question. Would you think it a statement of intent fi we only signed those two in January? Both would hardly be first team starters for us
Loan or permanent?I have heard that Brau may be going back to Spain, if so, we may need another LB and a midfielder, winger and forward.
Loans with obligations to buy suit both purposes don’t they?Feels like we are in a bit of an odd situation coming in to Jan.
As we need extra bodies but likely hood cant afford Prem quality and wont want to buy random players who cant make the step up if we do get promoted.
So guess we are looking to find gems
