I feel like Sunderland signing Le Fee, who isn’t all that btw, has sent some of your imaginations wild with who we are going to be signing.

He’s played a key role in a side currently in the top 6 in the top league. He’s a very good player

We don't have a midfielder or a wide player that can come on and make a difference and change a game. Fix those two issues and we'll be in a really good spot. Hopefully we can do that early doors.

Dead cert. Works for all parties.

Number 1 in the premier league. Brighton get decent profit, we potentially get a keeper that won’t be too far from getting in the England setup. More profit to be made I think.

Maupay would walk into any championship side lol, some absolute jokers on this forum mate

I don’t rate him, neither did Everton fans. His form over the last 3-4 years has been poor. He’s also supposed to be a divisive character.

It doesn’t make you entitled or a joker not to be keen on Maupay.

If we sign him I will fire him my full support but my preference is that we don’t

it's a bit weird to me that 'I don't want Maupay when he's scored 11 goals in three years' is a hot take.

If we’re going to spend like a PL club on PL-quality players then that’s good news.

Apparently Besiktas have agreed a fee for a Championship striker who’s familiar with top flight Turkish football

Turkish football is awful with the exception of 2/3 clubs outside of that it’s probably League 1 level stuff. It’s rated similarly to the Championship due to those 2/3. I always think backwards step in many ways to go there.
If it’s Wright it will be £20-£25M based on what we’ve supposedly told West Ham.

His wife is Turkish iirc and they have a young child/children so he may be under pressure to return.

I appreciate that but don’t see what we would want to sell either. Fee would need to be Gyokores level by the sounds of it. Noticed Hull have a Turkish striker who hasn’t settled so maybe he’s returning.

Not sure if we’d get anywhere near £20/25 mil. Based on what? Not performance levels surely. If we got our money back to reinvest then I’d take it….

£25M for Wright - immediately reinvested in George - would be the a ridiculous bit of business to start 2026.

Nobody is paying that for him. He turns 28 in a few months and is inconsistent.

Don’t see him going anywhere. Kings clearly told West Ham he wants big money. We’ve all seen the figures talked about. It won’t be cheap.

If Wright is sold we need to fill his role quickly. Can’t see it happening as it’s such a risk if we get it wrong

Why play him ahead of Simms if he's going as soon as January window opens

Selling our top scorer over the past two seasons so we go into January with only one fit striker would certainly be ridiculous business.

The longer Wright goes on without scoring, or even contributing, the risk lowers. If the fee is decent and a replacement is ready, there really isn't much risk.

That’s probably most likely source & sounds like it’s not Haji due to age…

Most likely Enid Deatan at Hull who’s 23 and played from Trabzonspor
