Doug has to be flexible because we need quality and that generally comes at a cost. So if loans with options are on he has to take it. We dont need numbers or projects that fit a model. Get promoted then you can apply the model with better club structure used from investment of Premiership money.

Now, xou get the best players you can get that are better than what you have. Doug has to gamble and now is the right time to do it, we are not trying to get in the top 2 we need to sustain a top 2 with a buffer of 8 points. Quality, quality quality with pace, power and energy needed as a minimum.

Once you get that in then if a player like Castledine is an option then you invest in the model. But not now, its not the time to be conservative, best opportunity for his goal of promotion is now.
