You need to accept that we are almost certainly getting promoted, and we need to adjust our transfer plans accordingly. When it comes to players like Piroe, as mentioned in numerous other threads, there's not much point in trying to build a super-Championship team. I wouldnt want Piroe here, but reading this it does make me think that similar could be said about Wright and some posters on herePiroe talented but bit of a luxury player from what I can remember, even when he was scoring goals Leeds fans never rated him. I’d look elsewhere for what he’d cost.

Massive project because he’s a bit dodgy on the ball but in the Prem we’re going to average like 40% possession so who cares.

For an option who is a good ball-winner but also decent on the ball: Kodai Sano. Just won his 1st Japan cap, brother of Bundesliga star Kaishu Sano. One of the best players in the Eredivisie and touted as a £10m+ player so wouldn’t be cheap.
Mentioned the name a few times now, but my pick of someone in that profile would be Mamadou Sangare from Lens (although they’re currently top of Ligue 1 so may be a step too far).
