I've just got this feeling we're going to pull off a major move for someone, just to really cement our position.

Might just be wishful thinking though

And me, think we’re in for a really exciting window.

Remember that Evander we were once linked with? I just looked at his stats from this season
18 goals and 14 assists in 32 games.
Get it done, Doug!

Well he hasn't.

He's not just a left winger he's played all across the midfield.

End of discussion.

Well are you suggesting transfermarkt that tracks players positions they play is wrong?

Well Transfermarkt says 14 and you claimed he's only played there 11 times so I fail to see how you're responding to me when you seemingly lack the basic ability to even read numbers off a page.

He was deployed there mostly under Dyche and actually did quite well.

Maybe try watching a game of football now and again. You might look less silly.

He can't and throws out silly insults. His "Evidence" literally says he plays on the left.

I mean, I'd recommend you read the sources I've posted. Unless your difficulty with numbers also extends to basic literacy.

@Farmer Jim how often did Mcneil play at CAM for you, or was he mainly a winger or wide midfield?

He's played 10 league games there for Everton, 1 game against Bradford, 1 game against Fleetwood, 1 game for Burnley and an FA Youth cup appearance for Burnley there.

He's clearly well adverse to being a CAM

I don't think it would be a bad option, a lot of experience and it sounds like he's not having a great time at Leeds. How true it is about him having a good relationship with Lampard i don't know.

Lampard and Harrison played together in MLS, they are very close.

So to summarise.

If there's a need, he can indeed play there and there's evidence that proves as such.

Didn't need it, but thanks for confirming.

Although he's played there in the past probably not in the Championship. I would've thought if he's played there the bulk of those apps would've been for Barnet in the NL, maybe a handful for Peterborough. So it's not really comparable.

McNeil has performed well as a 10 for Everton in the PL, slight difference.

So again, although it's not his preferred position, he quite clearly can play there.

Please feel free to share any other irrelevant questions that are on your mind. I'm sure I'll be able to answer them for you.

Let’s spend the morning arguing over what position a player who doesnt play for us, and probably never will, is best suited to/plays most regularly.

Never change SBT.

I could be completely wrong here, but I’m sure McNeil played ‘AM’ under Sean Dyche when Everton played 4-4-2 a lot.

For the period Rudoni was out injured, BTA is listed as playing AM when we were playing 4-4-2 so could be similar mischaracterisation.

There’s been times where Trasfermarkt and other websites have listed incorrect information and when you’re actually at the match you can see what ‘player x’s’ proper position is/was.

A majority of his appearances have been on the wing. Therefore he’s a winger. If he joined us he’s not going to play as a 10

You don’t play an AM in a 4-4-2. Also BTA was playing as a 10

You do realise you're talking to yourself.

I've also never said he's coming to play as a 10. I said he can play as a 10 when you claimed he's an out and out winger when he's not as he's played in multiple midfield roles.

At this point you're really coming across as quite thick.

He will be claiming hes a striker too considering he's played there before, and a LB

It's hilarious how much of a little idiot you actually are.

Did you read the article I referenced when you were crying about wanting evidence. Or are you too thick to read.
