He wasn't there Saturday.
However there was a bit of chatter that we had been looking at Jack Harrison. Apparently he has a good relationship with Lampard. I don't know if there is any truth in it.
He played under Lampard loads at Everton. I'd prefer Mcneil.

Would be a top signing imo, wonder if its something we could pull off on a short term loan to buy

Ah right, i did see the one about Dan Neil floating about on Twitter. What's the general thoughts on that one? I wonder if there is any truth in it.
Sounds good to me, we're clearly lacking a CM since Sheaf leaving wasn't really planned but more a 'too good to turn down' kinda thing. Think he's an upgrade on Sheaf and given his contract situation he would probably cost less, so just another CCFC recruitment masterclass if it comes off really.

I don't think it would be a bad option, a lot of experience and it sounds like he's not having a great time at Leeds. How true it is about him having a good relationship with Lampard i don't know.

Covers both wings and not in a position to come in and demand to be starting, i like the idea of a 6 month loan with option to buy.

Yeah i thought so, experienced at this level. Yeah from what i've heard Sheaf was very much a last minute thing and definitely too good to turn down.

Harrison sounds disappointing after we've been going on about McNeil but given that was always likely bollocks and i think a highly unrealistic deal until we are hopefully promoted, i think Harrison on a deal that suits us makes sense. Til of of season with option to buy, think he could be a good one to bring in.
Harrison
Manneh
Neil
I think that gives us good options.

Mcneil has played 90 minutes all year. They may play him to get to the new year, but they will sign someone in January and he will go out on loan

I hope you're right. McNeil is a Premier League player imo and a deal with obligation to buy if promoted would be great. I still have some doubt we can pull it off however and i also am not sure where the rumour came from tbh.

Had a quick google. He seems to give a lot of credit to Lampard for his development. Found a good few articles to that effect

Perhaps there is some truth that we have had a look then. If they get on well maybe a short term deal would suit both parties. I suppose there will be a lot of factors. Are we looking with a view to prem, or just looking to get us over the line.

One thing Doug might want to think about is whether you will get a better deal on a player who is Prem ready now or if we went for them after we were promoted. I think the price would go up then.
So if Frank wants to strengthen for a push then he should find the money now.
