Football League clubs need to complete a 'deal sheet' in order to complete a transfer in the last two hours of a transfer window.

Clubs often leave their transfer dealings to the very last minute, and therefore have to submit a form to the EFL to make sure that a transfer can go ahead.

The deal sheet allows a club to confirm that an agreement has been reached and also give themselves more time to submit the remaining documentation.

The EFL and the Premier League have both set a transfer deadline for Monday, 2 February at 19:00 GMT.

The deal sheet cannot be used before 17:00 GMT and needs to be filled in before the transfer window closes.

Once the deal sheet arrives with the EFL, the clubs have an additional two hours, or until 21:00 GMT to submit all the required paperwork.

If all the necessary paperwork has still not been submitted after the deadline has passed, the transfer will not be able to proceed.

I could be wrong, but I'd be amazed if JDS isn't under instruction.
Otherwise he's doing his own thing and Lampard isn't correcting it, which I cant see being the case.
Yeah, you have to feel like it's under instruction, which if so is baffling as it keeps happening time and again. Fair enough with MVE as he has the pace to get back. If that's how he wants us to play then he needs to try KKH there imo, or instruct Kitching to stop diving in so high up and let Grimes deal with it. I do feel better with the arrival of Onyeka, i genuinely feel that things will change.

It is 100% the instruction to get up the pitch. Thats why Grimes drops in as a three so they can play wingback.

It will be but football is about situations/decisions, what do you do when when you lose the ball, who else is tracking back etc

Lampard obviously encourages FBs to push forward but I also think loose, sloppy play, poor ball retention and wingers not covering back has caused some of our issues defensively. I’d personally sacrifice some of Dasilva attacking/technical ability to have KKH pace at the back especially away from home

Said exactly the same Hayden could easily slot in a left back, and we don’t need both full backs bombing forward, if you know you’re weakness is down you’re left and balls in behind us stop teams doing it, its fine at home we get away with it, just tighten the left side up,

I agree. Those subtle changes we made second half Vs Leicester. That's all it takes.

It is probably tactical, it's probably also a lack of something (form, confidence or whatever) that has shown us up the last batch of games. In game management needs to be better.

I've often found myself inwardly shouting "run you cunts" but also thinking where the fuck is the midfield.

I’d agree it’s worth changing up, I just think you can’t blame players for doing what they’re told. Every manager has mentioned how this group follows instructions really well so it grates a little for them then to get the blame for what appear to be managerial decisions.

It does seem an odd signing now we are half way through and he's not been given much of a chance.
If we are to stick with what we have, i honestly believe he needs to drop JDS for a while.

I rewatched the whole move that led to their equaliser and it's the same old thing that has been happening for weeks now. JDS was so high up the pitch, actually ahead of Esse and Rudoni, loses the ball, Kitching then feels he needs to jump in. After he heads it though, Grimes is in front of him, he should let him deal with that and track the runner. He doesn't, he then tries to step in again ahead of Grimes and that's it, they're in again. JDS is still nowhere to be seen and doesn't have the pace that MVE does to recover.
Esse and Rudoni don't attempt to get back and help either.

If fit, i'd like to see KKH there for the next couple of games as i don't feel that Lampard will drop Kitching. Not that i'm calling for him to be dropped. JDS is a good player technically going forward, but he is the problem, he's not disciplined (whether it's under instruction for them to be so far forward we don't know) and keeps making the same mistake every game, then cannot recover.

I think now we have Onyeka and Grimes, the defence will be given another shot, but that left hand side needs a change if possible.

the thing is JDS doesn’t make a ‘mistake’ - yes he loses the ball, but that’s catered for in so far as Grimes drops in and the defence shift and cover, the problem then is you have another CM out of position (Eccles or Torp), Rudoni not covering back and also Kitching compounding things by heading / passing the ball to the opponent

The main issue is not clearing the ball after having the opportunity, and that, at the weekend, was down to Kitching

Mentality has gone and Grimes doesn’t seem like a blood and thunder captain. The elder players in the squad like Sakamoto Allen Bidwell etc are quite quiet too. Might be something Onyeka brings tbh. At least by example charging about throwing challenges in.

Let’s cut through all this tactical nonsense about JDS. The fact is he’s a poor player. His skill set is receive the ball from 5 yards and then pass it back.
