I think it will just be Onyeka in today, which will be a big boost but worried I've already got in my head we will suddenly go back to early season form and be dicking people again. Can't help but get hopes up as its been painful seeing the form fall.

He will help a lot in midfield, but if we keep telling everyone to charge forward when we’re 1-0 up, we’ll keep pissing points away.

This is on the manager though.

Until he can get in the players that suit the system he wants to play, he has to tailor the system to our players' strengths and weaknesses.

Dasilva's what he is; he's not going to grow or find pace, so you have to work within those confines. Asking a player to play in a way that exposes his weaknesses is on the manager, not the player.

It’s not really on the manager regarding Dasilva - he’s on contract and was a big signing at the time. He has tried to play the game high up the pitch to use Dasilva one attribute of close control and movement.

Living in Adelaide now means I'm watching a bit of A League soccer.

There's a 16 years old kid who plays for Sydney that got a couple of assists at the weekend, Akol Akon, he's gonna be a baller.

Get him in Doug (can play right wing).

Just seen this on rising ballers insta page

It’s clear we need support in the middle and Onyeka seems to fit the bill for helping us defensively.

Esse will add value to the team and while the jury is still out on Yang, at the very least he gives us depth.

However, can’t help but feel disappointed if that’s all we get in.

Biggest chance of promotion since relegation, massive re-build on the cards if we don’t go up, a squad of players we know can perform at a high level - but they need help and we’re at a bit of a make or break stage with results and performances.

One game changing headline signing could re-ignite fans and players - and help get us over the line at a time we really need it.
