The thing that makes me laugh is that Bobby and Kitching have been partners for a very long time even at Barnsley but neither of them seem to be aware of what the other one is doing. We needed wingers, a CM and then I always said doing surgery to get rid of a LB or 2 and getting a new one in.
CB would follow that, but I never saw it likely so didn't cmoment as much on it.

What I am suggesting is much more realistic to get us promoted than yours of not signing anyone.

I said all along we would need extra bodies (ideally on the right terms) and we’ve got them. As bad as yesterday was I still believe this squad can get promoted, even more so if we add Onyeka on loan - you don’t, so I guess we’ll see.

I see we look to have finally reached an agreement with Brentford though, so that's good news.
Not a rumour, just an opinion and may get laughed at, but i'd be looking at Jamaal Lascelles. He may not be what we are after in the long run but he's experienced and could come in and make a big difference to our run in. If we are not going to use Lati, let him go and get the minutes he craves, he is a good Championship defender for the right club.

McCallum was injured yesterday & replaced by Burrows, they might be signing a new LB as cover whilst McCallum injuredI'd much prefer McCallum.
Any new LB needs to have physicality and pace as the priority.
