Wrexham signed Conor Coady in the summer for £2m, he played 5 games and they’ve realised he’s not the guy and loaned him out. If they feel Woolf is not the guy they should have done the same if we really wanna get promoted. Wrexham are going for it

Woolfenden can’t play for another team - he’s played for Ipswich and us this season.

Yeah, bad form won't last forever, but the niggling thing is that we are winning at home and losing away. Kind of points to us doing something wrong away in the way we set up doesn't it?

I do think that's what's frustrating a lot of fans.

Something is inherently wrong in how we are going about away games.

We need to pick up some points away from home to take the pressure off the home games. We can't expect to win everyone of those.

Not the form, Greek man once said " doing same thing, getting same results".. will Lampard ever learn?

I don't get what the issue with Woolfy is. Fair enough he had a shaky game at Wrexham but he wasn't the only player and the few other appearances he's had I think he's looked decent. Why would we fork out £4m for him to just rot. He's got promotion experience twice. The failings of Lampard for sticking to the same players over and over is pissing me right off. Jamie Allen isn't going to create or get goals but he'll graft his bollocks off and protect the goal. Honestly if Lampard sticks with the same side and the unthinkable happens and we lose to Oxford there's going to be some serious noise. I think we've got a LB lined up and Brau or Bidwell will be sold and hopefully we land Onyeka or another quality CM because why would we let Kai go who personally I think did okay.

We need a starting LB and CM, and need to move players on. Id be happy to see any 2 or 3 of JDS, Brau, Bidwell, Wolfie, Allen Thomas and Kitching out the door. The issue is time and would any of them move.

Massive issue and next couple of days could define what path we end up walking.

Kai went out on loan and we recalled Isaac Moore who plays defensive mid field. Guess that's our plan B

Unfortunately, JDS has been found out a bit as the season has worn on

He was really playing well earlier on in the campaign, but now the whole team has been studied and opposition sides are now learning how to exploit our weaknesses and target them, it's plain to see that Dasilva isn't quick enough for the way we play. We are lacking a bit of pace when the ball breaks down and the opposition breaks away.

MVE is rapid and can get back from breakdowns further up the field when we lose the ball, but Dasilva can't do the same.

I honestly believe to play the way we are playing at the moment, we need a LB who is as quick as Milan.

It's a shame. I like Dasilva, but he's been caught out a number of times. He also really struggles to cut out any crosses too.

As I said before, we could really do with a CM, a LB AND a CB (if Woolfenden isn't going to be considered).

Thing is with Woolfenden too, is that he also lacks pace.

Can't see how we can fix everything with what's left of the window

Only other option is for FL to tweak the tactics. If opposing teams have learned a strategy to play us, then we need a new strategy of our own, especially away from home.

We need to learn to adapt when necessary.

I think that Southampton game you mentioned produced some real niggle around the club, something provoked that sending off and aftermath of the game, possibly the media treatment of us afterwards?

You'd have to assume that proved the team was behind him at that point, I think there's some friction here, speculating but I think the Fraser's moving on to other ventures has and is affecting things., still to sign the extension,Haji too?

36 hours till the window shuts. Only rumour is Onyeka. Nobody reported on Markelo and that came out of the blue.

We need a LB, CB and CDM as a minimum on the latest showing.

There is zero evidence of him blocking transfers. In fact he sanctioned 6 signings in the last 2 windows and Lampard has chosen not to play any of them. That isnt on King.

Bamford would clearly have been a useful option. The likes of Makama and Kone have really shown the strength and hold up our strikers lack. Despite streaky patches of goal scoring, I still have my issues with them. At his best, Wright is obviously the best one, but he needs to wake the fuck up too.

Since Lampard came in with the 2 windows so far we’ve signed:

Grimes
Patterson
Brau
Woolf
KKH
Rushworth
Minny
Esse
Markelo

Now the problem I see is only Grimes and Rushworth have established themselves as 1st team starters. Markelo too early to tell.

This is on the manager though.

Until he can get in the players that suit the system he wants to play, he has to tailor the system to our players' strengths and weaknesses.

Dasilva's what he is; he's not going to grow or find pace, so you have to work within those confines. Asking a player to play in a way that exposes his weaknesses is on the manager, not the player.

Bamford coming in would have been key for us in games where it was tight and we missed key chances that meant we did not pick up three points, I’m thinking of games like Charlton and PNE.

Something weird with Woolfenden, as if he can't get a game over Kitching, who's so out of form and bereft of confidence that he's a hindrance, then something must be wrong.

Brau was a punt and probably not expected to be anything other than a bit-part player this season. Woolfenden was not, he was intended as an immediate first team player, same as Thomas and Kitching.

The biggest issue we had last summer was not bringing in a better LB, a classy experienced champ CB and a dominant CDM enforcer.

Was the perfect opportunity to give him a run of games and make Thomas fight for his place that, if Lampard doesn't think he's worthy of that chance there are massive issues with Wolfy.

Was thinking about Woolf and came to the realisation I think part of the issue with how tired we are, is that Lampard doesn’t rotate. We’ve used the least amount of players bar Wednesday who are playing the kids.

We could have played KKH and Woolf for a couple of games but I think we’ve ran some players into the ground especially with how intense we used to play. Even Grimes could of been subed off for a couple of games.

I liked Woolf at Ipswich. Concerned Whats going on as Thomas and Kitching aren't in any form atm and he can’t get in

Not really a cat in hell's chance of it happening, but I think we could do with three players.

We need a CM and a LB, but if FL isn't going to play Woolfenden, we could do with a really decent centre back too

Lately there have been far too many mistakes from Thomas and Kitching.

I think 3 excellent signings could really change our fortunes. Not going to happen though, so really hoping for Onyeka or a really good alternative.

Think that may well be it
Yep, Thomas and Kitchen are the definition of when they are good, they are very good, but when they are bad...

I agree 3 would be near perfect, for me 4 would be the best as a striker who can play well not just scoring in patches would also be ideal. (Again I know it isn't happening)

I totally agree with this and was just talking about this separately, how can a player who got promoted with Ipswich, who was the second highest appearance maker in defence for a team promoted to the Premier League, not getting a game for us now?

Kitching has had shockers recently, but he seems to be a player Frank Lampard can’t drop.

Why have we signed a player with his experience quality if we aren’t willing to play him at all.

Either Frank is too stubborn or something has happened behind the scenes, because it makes no sense.
