If you watch some of our early season stuff compared to now its so simple to see the differences:
• Grimes is deeper
• Torp is more advanced
• Fullbacks are less committed to tracking back
• Less balls through the middle for CFs to latch onto
• A lot more direct long balls
• Less switch balls between flanks
• Less energy off the ball within the press
• Less men in or around the box when the ball gets to the wide positions

Wrexham signed Conor Coady in the summer for £2m, he played 5 games and they’ve realised he’s not the guy and loaned him out. If they feel Woolf is not the guy they should have done the same if we really wanna get promoted. Wrexham are going for it

Woolfenden can’t play for another team - he’s played for Ipswich and us this season.

Yeah, bad form won't last forever, but the niggling thing is that we are winning at home and losing away. Kind of points to us doing something wrong away in the way we set up doesn't it?

I do think that's what's frustrating a lot of fans.

Something is inherently wrong in how we are going about away games.

We need to pick up some points away from home to take the pressure off the home games. We can't expect to win everyone of those.
Not the form, Greek man once said " doing same thing, getting same results".. will Lampard ever learn?

Wolf is a good player and a leader, he can't do that , sitting on his arse
I don't get what the issue with Woolfy is. Fair enough he had a shaky game at Wrexham but he wasn't the only player and the few other appearances he's had I think he's looked decent. Why would we fork out £4m for him to just rot. He's got promotion experience twice. The failings of Lampard for sticking to the same players over and over is pissing me right off. Jamie Allen isn't going to create or get goals but he'll graft his bollocks off and protect the goal. Honestly if Lampard sticks with the same side and the unthinkable happens and we lose to Oxford there's going to be some serious noise. I think we've got a LB lined up and Brau or Bidwell will be sold and hopefully we land Onyeka or another quality CM because why would we let Kai go who personally I think did okay.

We need a starting LB and CM, and need to move players on. Id be happy to see any 2 or 3 of JDS, Brau, Bidwell, Wolfie, Allen Thomas and Kitching out the door. The issue is time and would any of them move.

Massive issue and next couple of days could define what path we end up walking.

Hope you are right but I would not be surprised if no one comes in

Kai went out on loan and we recalled Isaac Moore who plays defensive mid field. Guess that's our plan B

Anyway, somehow technically there’s still a 6 point gap to 3rd, hopefully at least one in by Monday and you never now, might be all we need, staying Positive, but it’s getting harder
We need Monday to be a day to cheer us up and be a boost for the squad, with us all thinking that it's good business.

Unfortunately, JDS has been found out a bit as the season has worn on

He was really playing well earlier on in the campaign, but now the whole team has been studied and opposition sides are now learning how to exploit our weaknesses and target them, it's plain to see that Dasilva isn't quick enough for the way we play. We are lacking a bit of pace when the ball breaks down and the opposition breaks away.

MVE is rapid and can get back from breakdowns further up the field when we lose the ball, but Dasilva can't do the same.

I honestly believe to play the way we are playing at the moment, we need a LB who is as quick as Milan.

It's a shame. I like Dasilva, but he's been caught out a number of times. He also really struggles to cut out any crosses too.

As I said before, we could really do with a CM, a LB AND a CB (if Woolfenden isn't going to be considered).

Thing is with Woolfenden too, is that he also lacks pace.

Can't see how we can fix everything with what's left of the window

Only other option is for FL to tweak the tactics. If opposing teams have learned a strategy to play us, then we need a new strategy of our own, especially away from home.

We need to learn to adapt when necessary.

I think that Southampton game you mentioned produced some real niggle around the club, something provoked that sending off and aftermath of the game, possibly the media treatment of us afterwards?
