He was better in general last season (Burrows), and much better defensively too. Standalone this signing looks decent, and we've spent some money. We can all be happy about that. If we sign a CM then it is a decent window. No problem. If we don't it is ridiculous given what is at stake. We really need some strength. That's the reality here.

McCallum has been really good this season btw, I prefer Burrows at his best though, I think he can go further. Also in last seasons Championship team of season.
We put down a lot of our own players because we see them all the time, but you have to remember other teams fans do the same. My mate is a huge Sheffield United fan (yes he's a c**t like all of them but he's my c**t) says Hamer played well against Ipswich but overall has been pretty shite this season and looks out of shape. Basically has his cock in his hand when talking about O'Hare though. I'd still snap your hand off for Hamer and Burrows and if you get them even close to last seasons form you are laughing.
