Sure he's doing a good job but has he promised a ridiculous looking AI stadium with more chimneys than fans and pissed £15 million up the wall on Jay Stansfield? I think not! #KingOutAll the owner talk is so boring, as long as he isn't pillaging the club and running it like a circus like his predecessors were I couldn't really care less tbh
Throwing money about has took Blues from mid-table to mid-table via League 1 - It is not the be all and end all
Damn whoever made him buy a championship football club needs a stern talking to. Especially one that loses money! Those are so rare!!
All true but so is that some of the decisions he has taken have been brave and correct
Not least to sack robins and recruit Lampard
Relationship with sisu - joyNone of it’s true? What part of what he said is true?
I agreeIt’s funny on Doug that some are very quick to want to say we are successful in spite of him rather than giving him his credit.
Has he done what any half competent owner of this club would do. Probably but there’s the key, this club has been historically cursed with awful owners.
Now if we could get back onto Hamer
We would have got far less for Vik if he hadn't taken over the club.Relationship with sisu - joy
Money from vik and Hamer was an amount of money that he was lucky to have
What did you disagree with
Maybe and maybe not but that’s part of the success he has managed and you can’t argue with itWe would have got far less for Vik if he hadn't taken over the club.
All you tarts still arguing amongst yourselves after all these years. Get a proper hobby, fucking drips.
They are going to say "no we weren't going to sell him" but they would have also taken Sporting Clubs first offerMaybe and maybe not but that’s part of the success he has managed and you can’t argue with it
im told by joy and those around joy vik wouldn’t have been sold in the January but then didn’t make the decision Doug did and what a set of situations that set up
He’s literally sold 2 players for £35m and whilst losing no more than previous owners or peers has a team worth probably triple that figure

And up pops one of the biggest dorks on here.....who is next, the cousin fiddler or the needy kitman wanker?Like making up new accounts so I don’t miss out of the arguing?
Not necessarily true, the last few games in the lead up to Doug's take over attendances were 16,000/17,000 - QPR game was the last home game under SISU, which was a slight uptick to 23,000 but that really was cause it was the last game before the World Cup break and their last chance to watch us for a few weeks off the back of a few winsThe point is King came in when a lot of the hard work had been done. Wasps had failed. The club was on track for promotion. We’d got two generational talents to sell. The fans were back on board. Most owners are not so lucky. This has of course triggered half the forum but it’s obviously true.
“Business is that everything that belongs to the business belongs to the owner. Iamverysmart”

If the owner owns 100% of the shares it in effect does. He determines the capital allocation policy and with it can take what ever earnings he wants to from it.
Why do you think the Glazers still own man united ? It’s not for the glory ? It’s not for the adulation ? It’s not for the love of football ? It’s because it’s a cash machine for them …..
Doug isn’t currently running it like that …. Maybe that will change but for now it isn’t …

Had my first season ticket the first year the CBS opened and remained ever since, including Northampton and Brum...With all due respect when did you start supporting us? 16k is a lot more than we were getting.
Also the season before average attendance was 19k.
The FB forum is full of that kind of diatribe. "Get your hand in your pocket Doug FFS", I cringe Every time I see it.I find it hilarious when people say things like ‘King has invested nothing’. It’s literally available on a public website for all to see. It will likely be even more than the figure you quoted when accs to May 2025 are published.
People moaning he’s mortgaged the CBS like it’s a bad thing are just as funny.

So argumentative. Deep down you must be really sad. Maybe interact with your wife/gf?This from the canal shitter who can’t stay away. Like ranting in Downtown about all the pissheads while wiping carling off your ankle tag.
He certainly has. Shown his business accumen thats for certain, and I've praised him particularly on pricing for the boxes which was highly criticised at the time.Maybe not half
You have to accept he’s made a number of fabulous decisions to progress the club
Are you alright? You are quite consistently making yourself look quite silly.Damn whoever made him buy a championship football club needs a stern talking to. Especially one that loses money! Those are so rare!!
Yeh he's been very good. I think judge the window at the end, it's all you can do. If this is it i'll be a bit miffed but i don't think it will be. He doesn't even need to spunk his load honestly, just needs to do the right things. Onyeka could be a loan for all i care and if you got someone like Wilson on a free, even if you stuck a fat bonus in there, you are laughing really. He certainly has. I just feel a bit of apprehension around him being fairly cautious this window, when it should be the window we go for it, if we ever will.
I think for me its the fact that even he admitted we were caught a bit short in the summer window, I was hoping we would have most our business ready to go. I appreciate there are lots of moving parts but I don't want to sacrifice points in January as we are waiting for the right deals to drop.Yeh he's been very good. Tbf even with just those 2 wingers, who i think will make a big difference, we've done more than most the league. It's a sellers market in Jan and most deals will drop in the last week.I think for me its the fact that even he admitted we were caught a bit short in the summer window, I was hoping we would have most our business ready to go. You have to trust him and he’s got lots of goodwill from how he’s handled so muchHe certainly has. Shown his business accumen thats for certain, and I've praised him particularly on pricing for the boxes which was highly criticised at the time.

You think Championship football clubs print cash and it’s just kings good nature that means he hasn’t taken it out?
Like explaining the basics of UK football to a child…
That is funny tbfAnd up pops one of the biggest dorks on here.....who is next, the cousin fiddler or the needy kitman wanker?
