He's a backup to EMC, i think he's alright from what i've seen tbf, certainly to play that role. Esse i think will be starter more often than not.

I've literally just spoken to 4 Pompey fans in the office and they're all gutted he's going.

They did say he's lighweight but has scored crucial goals for them. Can play on either wing, has Championship experience.

I'm speaking with real life humans down here in Portsmouth.

They said Mousinho didn't play him as much as they would've liked but he's a decent player and will do well for us going forward.

We need cover on the wings, this lad provides it.

We aren’t looking for starters on the wings. We need players who can come on and hold their own/make an impact for 20 mins or the odd start midweek against lower teams. We aren’t Pompey pinning our hopes on this lad, and in the three games he’s started the position we’re likely to play him in this season he’s scored two goals. So willing to give him a shot. His competition right now is literally Angel Brau.

I would have doubts about Esse too if he was out marquee signing but they aren’t. They’re there to be better than Brau and KKH and if they hit form and claim a spot then great.

Conversely I would like to see is get quality in CM because despite Torp apparently definitely not being made of glass (played about the same as Sheaf last season) he is definitely some kind of balsa wood at best.
