The club rated Brau and Bassette too and they didnt work out. I think Manneh is a gamble. And we cant afford a gamble at this stage. We need a few proven loans or short term deals.

I know everyone is kicking off at the guy but i fully understand if Blues has come in and offered double that he'd at least be trying to get us to up our offer slightly. I really think the experience of Wilson in that front line is what we need to get us over the line. I just worry that if Doug didnt want to pay Bamford what he wanted, Callum Wilson is a non-starter unless out of sentiment alone he's willing to take a huge pay-cut.EMC on the left

Not convinced on this guy. Portsmouth fans aren't dissapointed his loans ending and say hes very lightweight.Signing at least 4 this Jan aren't we. Rightly so, Doug needs to give Frank a decent sized squad to get this done. No more fullbacks playing as wingers, thank Christ!
