On the pitch and in the stands

We are very pleased to confirm details of the exciting new 25/26 ‘Pro Shirt’.

The Sky Blues have become the first UK team to work with hummel to develop a shirt perfect for the needs of the playing squad, with our kit partner working closely with the first-team at Ryton to design the new shirt, which will be worn by the players in the upcoming campaign.

The professional-fit shirt features a lightweight rubberised badge, providing increased breathability, alongside a special jacquard fabric. Accompanied by Sky Blue shorts and socks, the new pro shirt will be available to buy, alongside the regular retail version, on 25th July.
They missed out a line "and will be double the price"

This possibly suggests an increase on standard then I think,a bit like STs?
It'll be better quality for playing, doesn't always mean better quality for wearing though. Some of the pro shirts with other brands are horrible to wear (particularly if you're not built like an athlete).

I’m amazed at people moaning about this kit. Remember when we were basically wearing the same Nike training blanks as Bedworth United about ten years ago? Now we have our club crest woven into the fabric of a kit designed specifically for us, a performance version befitting of an ambitious professional team, and an absolute worldie of a GK kit.

We were closer to playing bibs vs skins than this level of kit not so many years ago.

I love how people will go down the club shop on the day the new kit is tweeted about, just to see it in the flesh and not actually buy it….
I mean if I worked or was in town then I’d probably have a look walking past the west orchards one, but to actually go to the CBS….

Some of us are a right entitled bunch
The kits look great, they're sky blue and all sky blue at that
So what if there's a pro version that'll rip you off, you dont have to buy it
I love the innovative designs Hummel have done for us and some of the kits have been stunning

We could always go to nike or adidas and look like everyone else

Some of the moaning on X is hilarious. People genuinely saying it's just the same as last year. Is there something wrong with their eyes? I prefer last year's shirt but it's certainly not a bad effort and the 2 shirts are not at all alike other than the colour (even that looks a different shade). What are people expecting? Red kit?
