i've never understood why kits are released so late.
you'd think they would sell the current years kit off with a month of the season left to play. so if there are significant games left to go then people would be encouraged to "buy the shirt after all" and wear it to the last few games.
then, having done that, release the new shirts within a couple of weeks of the season finishing. we all buy them, and wear them during the summer. that would mean sorting out the sponsors etc, but that shouldn't be as difficult as we appear to make it. it would only be a problem if, say, we'd been promoted, and wanted a load more cash for being on our shirts.

get the shirts on sale, you twats. stop making hard work of it.

Probably because it is not all down to the club. They have to tie in with the manufacturer. Then there things like the sponsorship deals to sort out. And sponsors are paying to be on the shirt.

It is not a simple as a lot of fans think

I like how Watford are selling it without the ugly betting sponsor, as it's the same price surely nobody's buying a big blue MRQ?

I think most teams do this due to it being a betting/gambling sponsor don't they?

Agree though, should be an option for all teams

you can book slots with manufacturers, so that's easily addressed.
and why wait until now to be sorting out sponsorship deals. if we'd been promoted then i'd understand it, but agree deals in principle based on that not happening.

it's nowhere near as difficult as they make it.

Some collectors prefer with sponsors on, even if they look shit, as it replicates how it is on the pitch.

To be honest, think their shirt is a bit crap with or without the sponsor.

Well yes that's a sandy brown hummel top of some sort. Probably another track top like last seasons black and gold one.

The travel gear looks horrendous if this is it for this season.
Looks like it has already been through the wash a hundred times!!!

All the training gear looks like a half arsed effort from Hummel this season tbh

Saw a clip of the players the other day and the stick-on badge was already peeling on one of them
