Well if you read the article they are all being done as part of Hummel's Iconic Denmark kit 100 year anniversary. So that is why and many other clubs are doing the same.

I don't tend to get involved in the comments on twitter, but I must admit the timing of this drop and some of the comments sections comments made me laugh. In particular;

There’s something quite funny about how constantly adding colours to make it more inclusive has made the branding shit. Two tone = amazing. A rainbow = can work well. Jackson Pollock reinterpreted through 1998 Word Art gradients…
