If we had spent £5m+ on forwards I could understand. We have spent a nominal fee on Gyo, and got Bright and Waghorn on free's, hardly using a significant budget on them are we.

Apart from goalkeepers in emergency circumstances I’m not a fan of loans although Osti and Sam Mc. were a success they have still left a hole in the defence now they have gone. I hope Robins has some financial clout to bring in a decent permanent centre-half he can build a strong defence round.Loans can be expensive just not a long term commitment.

Guehi was a perfect example at Swansea.We clearly haven’t so will use the loan market but it can for a season be successful if you get it right - we’ve had scores of examples of that
