[h=3]Players who are contracted to the club[/h]Goalkeepers: Lee Burge, Reice Charles-Cook
Defenders: Ryan Haynes, Aaron Martin, Aaron Phillips
Midfielders: Conor Thomas, John Fleck, Jack Finch, Jim O'Brien, Danny Swanson
Forwards: James Maddison
[h=3]Out of contract players with options[/h]Reda Johnson - negotiation clause for a further year
Jordan Willis - option of a further year
Danny Pugh - option of a further year
Who do we have that's actually under contract to still be here next season?
edit: this is from an old post I found.
Players who are out of contract in the summer:
Frank Nouble - Get rid!
Marcus Tudgay - Not sure.
Simeon Jackson - Get rid!
Shaun Miller - Get rid!
Andy Webster - I will drive him back to Scotland myself.
Adam Barton - Get rid!
Ivor Lawton - Keep
Blair Turgott - Get rid!
Kyle Spence - Keep
George Thomas - Keep
Devon Kelly-Evans - Keep
Dion Kelly-Evans - Keep
12 players
Out of contract players with options
Reda Johnson - negotiation clause for a further year - Keep, if TM's new fitness regime idea works.
Jordan Willis - option of a further year - Keep
Danny Pugh - option of a further year - Who?
3 players
The eleven players under contract
Goalkeepers: Lee Burge, Reice Charles-Cook - Keep
Defenders: Ryan Haynes, Aaron Martin, Aaron Phillips - Get rid of Martin
Midfielders: Conor Thomas, John Fleck, Jack Finch, Jim O'Brien, Danny Swanson - Get rid of Thomas & Fleck. Thought Swanson had already gone. Send Finch out on season long loan.
Forwards: James Maddison - Keep
11 players
And of course Mowbray out of contract.
The thing is with Nouble, Tudgay and Jackson, they're not actually bad pedigree and especially Tudgay and Jackson, they have decent pedigree for this level.
Could a full pre-season with TM and an overhaul of the midfield dept result in more effective performances from them? I'm not saying I'd expect any of them to be number 1 up top next season, but they'd be useful to have as squad players next season.

I will be v pissed off if we start the season with all 3 of Tudgay, Nouble and Jackson in the squad. Probably 3 of the highest earners, have consistently failed to deliver this season.
Our midfield needs an overhaul. Fleck, Barton, Thomas and ward all failed to score this season, only JOB of our orthodox midfield players has scored this season.

I would get rid of Fleck, Barton AND Thomas if it was down to me. Fleck especially should be getting his name on the scoresheet.

I would keep
Burge as back up
Reda
Martin
Phillips
Haynes
Willis
Fleck
Thomas
Job
Maddison
Nouble
And add to that with mowbray signings and loans.
Think would make for a strong squad.
You would keep Nouble?
Can I ask why? I was an advocate of his earlier in the season, when I saw what he was capable of, but unfortunately he seems to have about one good game in 6-10 matches and he doesn't score anywhere near enough.
Can't see any logical reason to keep him.
Is Danny Pugh still on our books?
This is what I would do:
Keep:
burge
Reece
willis
martin
Haynes
phillips
johnson- pay as you play deal
fleck
JOB
Swanson - give him until January and if he still can't play then get rid
Maddison
tudgay
definatly get rid of Webster, nouble, Barton and Jackson
try and get Pennington, Samuel and ward back on season long loans, undecided about stokes
You've missed Conor Thomas off your list.
