Which is exactly my point and you know it is. You say our goals have dried up yet tru to ignore our players that scored the most goals got injured. Yet will you consider what would happen if the same happened to them?
But it's not a point, it's a hypothetical scenario which is irrelevant to the discussion - which was they lack goalscorers. You've now moved the goalposts to a different galaxy by saying 'oh yeah but apart from those two.'
Azaz and Armstrong will be playing tomorrow so it's genuinely completely irrelevant.

I'm not really the one making a big thing of it. When several of our key players were out against Ipswich, while we created chances, we were incredibly wasteful with the opportunities we had, especially in the first half. I've already said having key players out will inevitably hurt most or not all sides. We've had the benefit of more players in form but across a season that can quite easily change - as it already has done with Wright.
But again, it's not particularly relevant to the discussion. Southampton aren't infallible and have their weaknesses. Their ability to create chances (second in the xG table to us) and now converting them aren't in that list though.
If they win 6 out of every 8 from now they go to the last game on 87. If we win 4 and draw 1 of every 8 we would be on 86. They need to significantly over perform us to overtake
How many of their players score goals? We've had at least 12 goalscorers now.
As I said before a lack isn't none. But as usual you try to twist words on several people on here then reduce yourself to name calling when shown to be wrong. I expect your name calling to start soon. Very tedious.
We need to defend well from the front, don't let them get the chance to go over the top for the likes of Armstrong, need to pressing well and winning the ball back in their third
