got this in my email today .....

This coming bank holiday weekend , The Sky Blue Trust will be teaming up with the Lime Tree Park Club in Tile Hill to bring you an action packed weekend of fun for all the family.

The event is being held as a way of marking the Clubs 130th Birthday as well as raising much needed income for the trust fighting fund.

The action kicks off at 12pm on Saturday and we will be putting on 22 bands over the 2 days. Ontop of this, there will be activities for the kids in the form of facepainting, bouncy castle, penalty shootout contest, dance academy and many more.

For the adults, there will be an open air bar and barbeque untill 9pm each day and the action will then continue inside untill midnight.. We will also be holding a raffle and auction with a Gary Breen matchworn signed 1st team shirt from 1997-1998 Season up for grabs.

If you are worried about missing the City V Preston game on the Sunday afternoon, this will be played over the sound system in the bar area and will provide a way to enjoy the match with several of your fellow fans.

Alternatively if you would like to watch some live football but do not want to go to Sixfields, CCFC Ladies will be playing their fixture against Lewes at The Ricoh Arena on Sunday afternoon with a 2pm kickoff. Tickets are £5 for adults £3 conccessions and £2 Car Parking.

Sorry mate but No. I need my fix and this to me seems a better way of getting it than handing money directly to Shitzu at the gate.

Makes you a bit of a fairweather plastic NOPM'er eh?

If you're going to tediously preach at and berate others with bad economics, at least do it from a sound, non hypocritical position.

Very pleased to here it. I know that the current theory is that the NOPM campaign will not result in Shitzu leaving but what will? At the end of the day what other power do we, as fans, have?

Agree tony

Does anyone not think that I want to go, to take my son to watch his team. To watch the team that I have done so for 35 years.
But what else can we do? Does anyone who goes to northampton not have the same dilemma with their conscience?
Can any one tell me what other actions can be considered.
I'm all out of aces?

I appreciate that this may damage my chances of getting the coveted role of fundamentalist priest of the NOPM movement, but personally I'd much prefer everyone to stay away from Sixfields but keep their SBP subscription going.

Not spending anything would be better but as a CEO of mine often used to say "we must not let the perfect be the enemy of the good".

Always thought that was pretty wise.......

That'd be all very well if he didn't pop up in every thread berating those who are going for killing the club!

Now if he just stopped this destructive diatribe, I really couldn't care less.

It's quite simple, if you're going to preach at others, at least have the grace to preach from a position of not selfishly indulging yourself, as the argument goes.

Oh but it's just a little bit.

Well maybe if I decided to go to preston it'd be just a little bit... and less cost than said subscription, at that.

If you're going to throw stones, have to make sure that glass house has long been vacated as the rent was too much.

At least you are living proof that some sayings and fables are correct. For example; Lincolnshire - 750,000 people all sharing the same surname.
