No point in arguing with an idiot mate, they don’t live in the real world. They deluded themselves into thinking they are the majority because they all agree with each other on here

Whereas others delude themselves that they're in the majority because everyone else agrees with them but keeps silent.

I've said multiple times I'd happily send lazy British cunts who just want to sponge, to Rwanda. If that means replacing them with hard working, law abiding people from India then so be it.

I am in the silent majority, this forum is the only place where I witness the most hilarious and embarrassing views. Everyone I know/speak to in the real world thinks the opposite to the saddos on here and laughs at you all regularly

Up bright and early to go fishing on SBT, I applaud your commitment. You need to be more subtle though, learn from the other contrarians on here who just light the touch paper and step back, then resort to direct insults only if that doesn’t work.

20% of the adult population want to vote reform! Clearly that’s everyone! Please don’t ask what they got (or in some cases are predicted) in Maths.

Please also don’t explain social circles and how of course everyone you meet at least pretends to agree with you.

I don't think it's impossible for us to live in harmony with nature, or that we should have zero impact. I just think the way things are and seem to be going are not going to achieve that and make it a lot worse.

We are technologically able to live in higher density. The point is are we as a species suited to that? We've been living in higher and higher density since the industrial revolution and that comes with problems. Tower blocks to replace slums had massive impact. No community aspect, distrust and hatred between neighbours because people are literally on top of each other. Massive mental health problems and alcohol/drug abuse to mask it, or people just resorting to violence as a release. I'm considering the human impact of such things and on the whole they aren't good.

Density in itself is not a measure of social decay and regeneration problems. Westminster, Chelsea Fulham etc. has extremely high density and some of UKs highest property prices. Bad design, cheap construction, low skills, unemployment and lack of social infrastructure and support are amongst some of the many complex reasons for urban issues.
In more accessible rural and suburban areas a lack of density is a problem as without a critical mass of people, commercial viability and local service demand/provision struggles and everyone has to drive everywhere to get a loaf of bread and a pint of milk.

I try so hard to not to rise to your ignorance, but you are the biggest embarrassment on here per se, calling people names like a schoolkid.
Wouldn't mind hearing your viewpoints if it was logical and structured rather than the dopey MAGA style rhetoric one liners you swallow.

nobody is asking you to rise to it, some of the comments you’ve made on here over the weeks have been laughable. It’s a good job most people in the real world don’t think like you

I'll try to help. The three people you know in the real world, including your mum, just nod and smile and politely hope you'll shut up and go away.

You're mistaking that for agreement, but it isn't, it's resignation and mild despair. You're just not very good at reading the cues I'm afraid.

Keep working on it though, and one day you might become a productive member of society with actual friends. Reach for the stars!

Fair points, but I guess I have little faith in either governments or developers to build this sort of sensitive development. It's all based on the money, be it either because govts have little to spend or developers wanting the biggest margins and they'll go for the cheap, cramped solutions that create a lot of problems.

When you restrict supply so much anyone lucky enough to get to provide it has already won the lottery. People have to accept bad products because it’s the only thing there is. If you have a functioning supply chain then if someone is a bad landlord or builds shit houses people can choose not to buy them at that cost.

As an example you could have design codes like places like Upton and Poundbury have that say as long as you meet the code in this area you can build. Developers get certainty and speed of approval and you ensure places are human scale and beautiful. The only people it would really hurt are the cookie cutter mass house builders but you’d hope to reduce them and grow more small builders and architects really.
