Dwight Gale looks like he's in his 80s.

He's always looked very wrinkly. Like his head has been replaced by a very cold scrotum. Odd.

Eccles has been really poor, he's sat too deep on the toes of the centre backs

Surprised to see Dijon sterling as a championship player. I don’t remember him being great when we had him on loan but I guess that was ages ago

I almost forgot Eccles was playing. Totally anonymous so far.

This is really poor football from us and it’s got to be instructions to just fucking hoof it. If not I’d expect robins to be fuming

I don't think the referee has been that bad, certainly not a patch on Keith.

We've got Gyökeres and then effectively six midfielders with minimal goal threat or attacking ability. I'm not surprised this is happening.

Still very early though.

They're going to get their eye in soon, we're on thin ice.

Boosh is right about Palmer as well, completely anonymous offering no outlet to feet at all

He was very good technically, but really lightweight, looked like a kid playing mens football. He turns 23 next week, think he was only 18 when we had him.

Stoke schooling us a bit here. We're giving it away too easily and not winning it back quick enough.

If O’Hare can’t manage a half I’d be tempted to move Allen back and put Waghorn on for Eccles. Playing with 10 men at the moment.

Doesn’t help we can’t pass the ball to each other today

He's done it again. Gets the ball and just passes to the opponent.

Eccles and Allen are well below this level. They can get away with it with Sheaf mopping up but today they are struggling.

I suppose on the plus side, we're still keeping the ball out of the net (so far) even though we're way off it today.

It’s infuriating. Probably the most frustrating half of football to watch I can remember for a while

Just looked on whoscored and Palmer has had just 8 touches of the ball, the lowest in the team so far after 36 mins.. You can understand Gyokeres getting isolated but Palmer should be dropping in to get the ball.

Neil refereeing the game from the side line.
Having said that, this is abject.

You can’t continue to ride out your luck playing in your own half. At some point you have to give the opposition cause for alarm. Changes needed.
