I will now accept “scores goals” when asked what Jamie Allen does. Had a decent half after his goal too.

Need to get at these a bit more and there’s more goals in them.

Have to say a great interception from him too when he passed it to Vik

Officials under a lot of pressure from their players and staff so will make some daft decisions. They are making some very physical challenges yet go down under a stiff breeze. That’s said we’ve made some physical and cynical challenges, we just don’t fall over when under pressure.

Discipline key second half. Especially if Luke ONien comes on as will be certain to provoke.

Eccles had the first and last attempted tackle in that sequence. Yellow deserved. Diallo reacted while Eccles was on the floor, yellow as well.

Good first half. Just dont need to get sucled in by their sparky over reactions. I can see a red card coming in this game. Palmer needs to not let them push his buttons.

But we are pressing and countering so well.

Sunderland fans can moan about the ref , but they must acknowledge they are deservedly behind , we've spunked 2 seriously good chances

Yellow for Eccles but clear sending off for Diallo as he struck Eccles' head.

Allen scored. Happy - but to be fair it was on a plate. Fair play to him for getting into the right place.

Eccles needs to be careful and if we had an option on the bench then he’d be hooked off.

BNC a mixed bag. Awkward and awkward.

Eccles is a good footballer and surprisingly for a young player had the potential to be a leader - he’s encouraging others and in the refs ear a lot.

However, he’s looked a bit lightweight today, which is why I don’t mind that tackle too much, he’s probably conscious of it and trying to make a point.

It was a stupid tackle don’t get me wrong, but it comes from frustration of not being strong enough. Hopefully he is more aware this half.

Really fear we're gonna give away a penalty, they just go down so easy and that roberts is a nasty little cheat.

Fair play to Sunderland kicking the ball out. Gyökeres played on so didn't need to do that.
